Am I the only one who makes a special meal for both Good Friday and Easter?

Face it Figgy…when is meal making in y’all’s house not special…!!!!!

Easter menu: Fried ham slice (enough for 2 people), 2 baked potatoes, & boiled carrots (oh -- more than 2 baby carrots per person ). Debating whether to "plus" the dinner, by buying some of those Pillsbury refrigerator dinner rolls -- the kind that bust open the tube, and then bake in the oven. We'll see. Don't want to go overboard here.

Dessert -- gotta find something at the store -- maybe cupcakes, or pie, or -- cupcakes and pie!

What about these cupcakes pies…?!!!!!

Yep, same here.
My plan to bring home Conans Pizza for din-din last night was a bust. Goin’ the long way home during rush hour and heavy rain just wasn’t gonna’ happen.
We could get cheese or veggie pizza from there tonight, but, if we’re gonna’ go there, I want that meat-laden Savage pizza…!!!!!

I love tomatoes and some pizza places in New Haven CT and some places in New Jersey make a glorious tomato pie, not a spec of cheese on it.

Actually, more than once, I’ve been known to open a jar of spaghetti/pizza sauce and eat the whole thing in one sitting…like potatoes, I have yet to meet a tomato I didn’t like…!!!!!

What does that make Disney Food court pizza unless it changed since the early 2010s? We all know that pizza does not have a great reputation. I had that before since I was on the free Disney dining plan and I was hungry for a night snack after coming back from theme park.

I do have Papa Murphy's Pizza over PH. All you need to do is follow instructions and put pizza in oven with Papa Murphy's.

Without cheese and pepperoni , what you have is a thin layer of tasteless crust covered with mushed up tomato's, not, by definition a pizza. And then if you throw pineapple on it instead of pizza we have massive grossness.

It was meh and not pizza We had lunch there as part of a school trip so it was a while ago but their claim to fame is nothing has changed in close to a century so I doubt anything has changed since then

I don't know about grossness but I like when I tried a NJ Egg , Taylor ham and cheese salt pepper ketchup on a bagel that the locals were eating but my friends thought it was gross.

Yea, I started a bit early, but, hey, it’s Friday, Good Friday to boot, half-day Friday, and it was 5 o’clock somewhere…!!!!!

Long story short we accidently wound up with 40 pounds of potatoes this week instead of the 20 originally on my shopping list
Coming up this week mashed potatoes with the chicken Sunday, gnocchi, sliced par boiled potatoes baked with pesto and either loaded potato soup or loaded baked potatoes if there's enough left for potato salad if we BBQ (fingers crossed) next Saturday
