Wow and the Orlando location using the same Chicago recipes as the Chicago Giordano locations.
The recipes can be the same, but it isn’t the same. I had the realization when I was visiting my Dad in AZ for Christmas. All the same recipes, but awful, right down to the French bread not being cut right for Italian beefs. I realized, if you haven’t really had it, the way it is supposed to be, you would never know. I had to keep telling the Minnesotans in our group, this isn’t real beef, this isn’t right.

Chicago is home to Unos. It was so popular, Unos was on one corner in the River North neighborhood, and Due’s was kitty corner.

we just call that Detroit pizza. And when DS was living in Denver, he had to try Colorado style. Apparently what makes it CO style is you dip the crust in honey. So, if you have to dip the crust end in ranch, does that make it WI style pizza, @ajrwdwgirl ?

I guess. I don’t dip pizza in ranch, I suppose it would be ok. I will dip crust in sauce or garlic butter.

Maybe, but recipes does not means they use the same identical ingredients.

Flavor can change a lot thanks to water and cheese types.

I remember that is why most companies like McDonalds centralize all their products sources to try to maintain a taste equivalence.

@Mr Ferret 88 , do you and Mrs. Ferret have any special dinner planned for Easter? Also, I hope you both get Easter baskets with chocolate rabbits, jelly beans, Peeps, and cookies. (I bought some Easter chocolate last week and I already ate most of it . . . hadn't planned on that. ;):hungry: ) I gotta go buy more! :p
