Why is cranberry juice so good at 1030 in the morning.

Even better is drinking a Cape Codder. ( vodka and cranberry, ice cold ) Didn't know what it was until I drank it when I went to school in New England ( big drinkers where I was at, but the " packie " was closed on Sundays).
I was going to say that spiking it with vodka would make it even better. 🤣

Because you're at Target;)
Although Starbucks at Target is even better.

I'm now the favorite cousin because I took my 13 year old cousin to Target and bought her Starbucks. Especially since everyone was like, "Oh, you can go to Walmart." We got in the car and I looked at her and said, "We are not going to Walmart. We're going to Target." She was very happy with me. 🤣

We drank a decent amount of those here at one point back in the 80’s, although I’ve never heard it called a “Cape Codder”, and I can’t remember what it was called (hey, I’ve slept since then…!!!!! :hilarious:).
Even after a pretty extensive Google search, no other names for it ring a bell. 🤷‍♂️

I was disappointed at Chefs de France. The food was way better at our cruise.
Only good thing was that our chef (an old dude named Remy who spoke 5 -7 languages) was funny and had good stories to share.

Sorry you had a bad experience there. We've mostly had good meals there with maybe one exception. For a long while it was a must do every year until Remy left then it was time to spread our wings a bit

You should try it again. It was probably an off night. The French onion soup and the braised beef...so good.
Meh. I call it “Les Pretentious Cafeteria.”

Yea, and your parents are about the same age I am…!!!!! :hilarious:
Yeah, Dad is a bit older that you (2.5 years according to your profile; he just turned 63) and Mom is younger; she just turned 57.

The funny thing is, I think not seeing Star Wars is a point of pride with my dad now. But that man LOVES Star Wars merchandise, particularly anything with Darth Vader or Stormtroopers. He wants to put a Lifesize Stormtrooper in the palladium window looking out over the front yard. I was like...no, because that's where my one and only plant, a tree that I rescued from a previous job, is, and that's the only place it can go because it's so tall. So then, we saw this past trip a giant picture of Darth Vader. He wants to put it over the dining room. Mom said no because she doesn't need to come down the stairs in the dark and see Darth Vader on her wall. 🤣 I think he also has one of those Darth Vader wooden figures from GE at his desk at work, along with a Darth Vader tie. That man...

That’s a vodka & cranberry.

It’s not a Cape Codder until you add the lime.
