They were one of the better places for vegans and those with allergies
I think I can have literally anything on their menu, including desserts, which is saying something.

Space 220 updated their dessert menu last time, and I could have one thing on their menu. And it was chocolate. Now, y'all know I love my M&Ms and an occasional brownie, but most things with chocolate are a nope for me. I took two bites and passed it to Mom.

or you mom just happens to accidently an extra drink:cautious:;)
We're not usually big drinkers. I was back when it was more of a novelty; now it just disturbs my sleep.

Except on vacation.

And last night when Dad was annoying Mom, and so she took the bottle of wine out of the fridge, drank the wine straight out of the bottle, and then we opened a new one because that wasn't enough wine.

Gee, common denominator here? 🤣

Even better is drinking a Cape Codder. ( vodka and cranberry, ice cold ) Didn't know what it was until I drank it when I went to school in New England ( big drinkers where I was at, but the " packie " was closed on Sundays).

We drank a decent amount of those here at one point back in the 80’s, although I’ve never heard it called a “Cape Codder”, and I can’t remember what it was called (hey, I’ve slept since then…!!!!! :hilarious:).
Even after a pretty extensive Google search, no other names for it ring a bell. 🤷‍♂️
It's probably more a regional thing up here in MA --hence, the Cape Codder name. Don't think I've ever tried one, but know that it was a popular drink for others, at least years ago it was. Plus, various drinks go through various phases of popularity -- not sure it it's still as well liked now, as in the past..

For those of you keeping score... for the first time this winter the weather folks are calling for a winter mix of rain and snow. The cool thing is that the forecast is pretty detailed. That possibility is to occur at around 10 am and continue until 10:15 am. That gives me just enough time to get some bread and milk and check to see if the National Guard has been put on alert before it happens. It is also shows that it isn't going to go above 39F all day. I'll try to stay safe!

One homemade drink that keeps being made is moonshine. Drive on I-95 South around exit 21 in SC and there are makeshift wood signs nailed to trees advertising moonshine that has been there for many years . Follow dirt roads to simple surroundings and this alcohol concoction will kick your butt and stomach for hours.
