That sounds way too much stuff o_oUgh, I'm so mad at E's school. They rework the schedule after every break for some reason, and this time her schedule is AWFUL. It was bad before, but it's terrible now. So Tuesdays, she starts at 8:20 and goes straight through until 4:40 pm. She has 8 subjects that day, 7 of which she usually gets homework for., and 2 of those are the 2 she consistently gets a LOT of homework for. And those 2 classes are, coincidentally, also 2 of the 3 classes she has on Wednesdays. So she doesn't get home in time to help me with dinner on Tuesdays....so she can't do her chore that day, but when she gets home, she will still have to do homework for those 2 classes because it will need to be turned in the next day. And because those classes are the heaviest with homework, she will probably have to stay up late to get the homework done, OR she'll have to get up early on Wednesday morning and hope she can get it finished before school. Thursdays aren't QUITE as bad....she only goes until 3:50pm, but it's still a long day and she won't get home until I've already started dinner, so she won't be able to help Thursdays either. And then Friday is a normal load...she goes until 3, BUT she has 2 hours of PE, right across the lunch break, meaning she doesn't get lunch until AFTER PE. They don't get their lunch break at the regular time. So she doesn't get lunch until 2pm. I feel bad for the kids who have to bike for an hour to get to school and then an hour back home. They have to leave at 7 am to get there on time, and then won't get home until 6pm...they have an 11 hour school day, basically, and then have to do homework! We're lucky we only live a 5 minute bike ride from school. Who approved this schedule? Who looked at this and said it was a good idea??
Same lol, the theater had more adults than kids by a huge ratio.B and I went to see Puss in Boots. We loved it. Obviously I love Puss and have since Shrek 2 came out, so I was happy he got another movie.
There were mostly adults in the theater. I guess everyone who grew up on Shrek came out to see it.![]()
Yeah, her school is a complete MESS because they are getting rid of the 3 existing schools and starting 2 new ones instead and they've done it all wrong. Our kids are paying the price for it. But E went and talked to her mentor today, and he apparently talked to some of the other teachers and in her last hour today, they fixed the Tuesday/wednesday schedule. The last class she had on Tuesdays was her O&O (Research and design) class, and that's a double class period, so 8th and 9th hours. Her Wednesday morning was empty until 11:10. The O&O teacher also had Wednesday morning free, and none of the kids in her O&O class had class on Wednesday morning, so they moved O&O to Wednesday morning. So now they'll get out of school at 3 on Tuesday and then Wednesday will start at 9:10 with O&O and go until 3 I think? So basically, every day is just a normal school day now instead of having one incredibly long day and one incredibly short day. So the kids complained and then worked with their teachers to fix the schedule that the schedule makers screwed up. And it's kind of stupid because it was such an easy fix....why couldn't the schedule makers fix it themselves??That sounds way too much stuff o_o

Well, if the signatures are original....
I have no reason to doubt it. They had all kinds of sports figures, mostly, and a few movie/music stars.Well, if the signatures are original....
Would it surprise you that I can think of at least 6 places to get coffee on the drive/walk into EPCOTUpdate: the late Saturday fam did pretty well and mostly had a great time!
I didn’t think he would listen to me, but J was up at 7am to book a late day Ratatouille with Genie+ woo hoo! They loved Ratatouille and did the magic shot before getting in line. (He paid for memory maker for a half-day.)
He said Frozen was down most of the day, and so was Nemo. Test Track was a long wait but the kid didn’t want to do it. Soarin was his favorite! (This was the kid’s first time at Epcot.) All enjoyed Figment (Dad was a fan as a kid and they got matching Figments on their shoulders - now that I’m typing that, I was assuming he meant they bought those, but maybe it was another magic shot?)
They all enjoyed Garden grill. (Didn’t they used to have some healthy stuff? Maybe I’m thinking of the QS place in the building.) He said it was like Thanksgiving food.
The wife did sleep in the car - the whole way - and he didn’t get a room ready text so went right to the park. She was surprised to wake up at Epcot and annoyed she didn’t have a chance to get coffee first @Figgy1 so they had a little parking lot argument where he was trying to explain to her that the coffee is right there as soon as you get to the entrance! [Insert pic of Grumpy here.]
Phone wouldn’t open their door, so they had to call for help, no biggie.
But they did way better than I thought so woo hoo!
