I didn't even know that and I had spaghetti for lunch. Must have been some internal signal.

There's definitely something telepathic going on here in chit chat. I also had spaghetti for lunch yesterday (it was a Lean Cuisine frozen, microwave meal - very gourmet).

So here's the latest for those of us who are kitchen challenged. Those of us who have used Shake N Bake for years, now have an issue. Apparently, back in November, the company decided to NOT include the shaker bags anymore!! But . . . but . . . it's SHAKE N Bake, right??!! Adding insult to grievous injury, the price of said box (without shaker bags) has gone up almost a buck from last year (at my grocery store, anyway)!

Now, supposedly, the Shake N Bake company's marketing for this, is to go "green" and not include bags. O.k. . . . but if that's the case, they remove the bags, but jack up the price almost a buck more??!!

Thanks, Figgy, for sharing. (But, I'm not traumatized to the point yet, of going to extremes.)

(P.S.: The company suggests that people use a covered container at home, and clean out after each use. Nope -- I opened the packet and just poured some on the chicken. No clean-up necessary, but no shake 'em up fun either!)

Calm down and grab a gallon storage bag. They sell them by the box at the Dollar Store. If it's more the lack of that one time use plastic bags, but the cost, then simply make your own. I am living proof that all one needs to do is walk and chew gum at the same time, to cook. Perhaps not an award winning cook, but sufficient to keep ourselves alive.
