That's how it works. If you were in my seat and refused to move even after I showed you where you were supposed to be (which is how I usually handle it and absolutely no one makes a fuss) I would also call over an usher. It's the same as if you were in an airplane with assigned seating; you have to sit there even if other seats are empty.Went to see Avatar. It was an odd experience.
First of all, my first time in a movie theatre since Star Wars in 2019. Apparently you had to choose seats even though the theatre was half full. Some bimbo got an usher because we were in her seat even though there was plenty of others. In the end the new seat was better for me because I didn't like how the first one reclined too much and this one was more like a regular seat while my friend thought the opposite. Because had I stayed in the first seat, I would have fell asleep in the first half of the movie. Much like the Titanic, it picked up at the end.
For all the money and time they put into it, not the most visually stunning movie out there. Once again, showcases humans being stupid which ironically we don't learn in real life.
