I have a heads up for those who are into video games and ice cream. Nintendo has teamed up with cold stone creamery to make 3 ice cream flavors inspired by Nintendo IPS and a ice cream cake.

The first of the 3 is Mighty Pink Puff. That flavor is inspired by Kirby. Mighty Pink Puff is made with strawberry ice cream, strawberries, mini marshmallows and caramel.

The 2nd flavor is called Super Star Sprinkle Blast. The flavor is inspired by Mario Party Superstars. Super Star Sprinkle Blast is made with Cake Batter Ice Cream, yellow cake, blue frosting & rainbow sprinkles.

The 3rd Flavor is Island Getaway. The Flavor is Inspired by Animal Crossings: New Horizons. Island Getaway is made with chocolate ice cream, strawberries, banana, and whipped topping.

The Ice cream cake is called Rainbow Sprinkle Road and is inspired by Mario Kart with it being in small round or large round.

I am trying very hard to muster up sympathy for those of you that have a head full of curly hair. However, try as I might I just cannot get all upset about it.

We have had a lot of rain, dripping humidity and heat. I gave up. God invented hair ties for a reason and of course roller coasters.

One of my favorite foods. Chicken in general is one of my favorite foods.

I am not a KFC person though. I eat fried chicken from a local fried chicken place.

Fried chicken and waffles is delish.

Yes mostly southern but is available many places all over the country including my own kitchen at times

The combo is salty and sweet is something I like and breakfast and lunch in the same meal.

I've tried it and it was OK. The hard part was knowing what the protocol is to eat it. Do you eat the waffle separate from the chicken or are they combined with maple syrup and eat them together or does it not really matter? In the past few years it has become more common on menu's in the Raleigh area at least.

So while we were at WDW the house across the street from us was sold and the new owner must have moved in. Yesterday I thought I saw the new neighbor but I was unsure because it was in a brief break in my cold induced naps on the porch and I was having such weird dreams I didn't know if what I saw was real or not. But what I thought I saw was him putting two dogs in the trunk of his car, and I was upset because the dogs were going into a car trunk, that seemed really cruel. Well, what I thought I saw turned out to be true-ish. The guy has two dogs and this morning he put them in the trunk again but it turns out it is a hatch back to a min-SUV so it isn't an enclosed trunk! Geez, I was really out of it yesterday.

I’ve noticed more fried foods are eaten in the South, particularly the Deep South. I’d venture to guess income, economic class, poverty play into why a number of the cuisine is deep fried. Going to a state fair it’s amazing many things are deep fried - watermelon, chocolate, a number of types of protein , cheesecake , etc, I eat fried food in limited instances , my annual blood work will tell me how I am doing and I need to make changes to improve
