Also, the birds, especially the gulls and pelicans, were quite active. I caught a pelican in a dive in one pic.
There were also skydivers skydiving onto the beach. I counted 11 total.
Plus, there was an ice cream truck cruising the beach.
And, I forgot to post yesterday that the house also has a pool…!!! :)

I'm back....did you all miss me?! I have a week and a half to get through before my 4 day vacation dog sitting for my cousins, lol. I'm also here to disappoint @StarWarsGirl cause work almost gave me an order pickup shift where I'd have to take orders out to their cars last weekend and I instantly gave that shift up, no bueno lmao.
Welcome back and you need to spend more time in TARGET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

isn't 600 a month a steal for US standards?
I keep seeing 500$ for a studio by friends on many states. and above 1000$ for 1 room.

Yes, those houses on the Texas Coast that I posted about would, indeed, be a steal at $600/month. But, I actually posted that they wanted $600+/night for them.
A typical 1-bedroom apt. in our area goes for about $1,300-$1,500/month.

That is not a surprise. The Beach Club per night is cheaper than a cocktail that is the Disney Wish Cruise ship has.

The Star Wars hyperspace lounge on Disney Wish cruise ship has a $5,000 cocktail called the Kaiburr Crystal:jawdrop:.
Those drinks are never for drinking, just to appear in some random newspaper to claim "most expensive bullcrap".
Reminds me of these dishes with edible gold and other idiocy.

But still 500$ for a 2-3 star hotel?
The Dolphin will continue to be the most decent option iI guess XD

Really enjoying all the vacation photos -- very cool picture of (your son, I think) with all the active gulls at oceanside. Still can't believe what a great deal you got on the house rental -- and nice pool, too!

From the various pictures, the area reminds me of Florida. What a beautiful sandy beach, and not crowded either!
