Just a tip: you might want to let the plane lower a smidge in altitude, before you jump out. What's your hurry? At 40,000 feet ya don't say.
Happy to hear that the school year is almost done for you and your students.Yep, this pretty much sums it up. Especially this year. But I only have 1 and 1/2 days left with the students this school year. Last day is June 2nd for teachers and as soon as we are done with our inservice time I'm hosting a tiki bar party for teachers at my house.

I think a tiki bar party for your fellow teachers sounds like a lot of fun. (By the way, is Kapono the official party greeter for the group, when they arrive at your house? )
Simple solution: your guests need to bring treats for Kapono, and she'll warm right up to them!Kapono will probably stay in the house most of the time. She barks at people a little too much or hides behind me (and barks some more). She is not cool with people in her house or in her yard.
Flying is much safer than driving even commercial flights PS you haven't lived until you've done barrel rolls and loopsBecause it's terrifying!! Anything goes wrong, there's not much of a chance you'll make it out alive. It's like tempting fate. Every time there's a slight movement from turbulance, I'm thinking we're about to plummet to earth. It's not at all fun. I do it out of necessity because the alternative is never getting to visit friends and family, or go to Disney, etc.
Hi Minnie , I’m spending time with loved one daily who is living in a sub acute rehab facility daily. The location looks like a hotel but with mandatory daily rehab. I’m eating before and after I leave, our family takes turns during visitation hours. I’m more into barbecue chicken and grilled veggies for today. The sub acute staff members from CNAs, RN, PT staff etc are rock stars doing important work helping the patients improve upon their conditions. My family member private room and bath has more square footage than my entire studio apt when I first started renting back in the day.@Lilofan , hoping you're enjoying your long weekend (with friends and/or family). Any food extravaganzas? (Hope you had some barbecue.)
We're sort of chillaxing here. There is a local Memorial Day set of festivities (small parade) and then various tributes hosted by local vets, city gov't. leaders, the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, etc. Also, the high school band performs. It's a nice community event to acknowledge all our local veterans.
I thought that would have synced with Kentucky Derby.
That is different then when my parents had Julie. Julie wanted guests to pet her. I'm sure she's getting people pet her in heaven.Kapono will probably stay in the house most of the time. She barks at people a little too much or hides behind me (and barks some more). She is not cool with people in her house or in her yard.
