Obi-Wan was good. It started with a flashback of the middle movies. Funny how the middle trigolgy is so much better received now then when first came out. Though whiny Anakin in the Revenge of the Sith is the worst of the three. The Disney movies are so weak....they won't be at all good movies in the future. Though I do like Solo and Rogue One.

Star Wars is doing so much better on TV but everything is based on the old material instead of making new material which obviously is a major problem. Even the new Disney trilogy is like the first trilogy in a different way.

Yep, just like when you mention a book title (by far and away fiction), I have no clue from one to the other, to the other, to the other, etc.…!!! ;):)
To each, his own, right? My FIL loves his birds and his gardening, and I am not into either. I love my books and he doesn't understand how I can possibly enjoy reading. You love your planes, and I hate flying...it would be boring if we all liked the same things!

Agreed 110%…!!! ;):)
But I'll never understand how anybody can not like flying

Honda driver Marcus Ericsson won the Indy 500.

Ericson's sponsor, Huski chocolate is chocolate drink company. I mentioned the sponsor and the nature of it because the first time I heard that sponsor it sounded last year during a race, it sounded Husky Chocolate Honda with me picturing husky made out of chocolate:hilarious:. What caused that for me was that race sponsor has a product that isn't sold in a United States store.

It was setting up to be an interesting finish. Still fun to watch. Unfortunately the drone of race cars also put me to sleep every darn time. Made it 25 laps in then woke up to 52 to go lol.

I am not a bit surprised. I graduated from high school back in the 1990s and I did hear drinking behavior that the classmates did. Social media didn't exist meaning there was no proof if you weren't there. I think those students didn't drive back home due to the condition they were in based on what I was told at the time or they stayed over the night.

I said told because I was not at any underage drinking events. I was told as school by classmates. I had no desire to go to underage drinking events and my parents wouldn't allow me to anyway. I did not drink alcohol before I turned 21.

Keep in mind I am from Wisconsin and the drinks laws are screwed up for decades. Wisconsin is known for its drinking.

In Wisconsin, law states you can't drink before turning 21, but there is a loophole. People under the age of 21 accompanied by a parent, guardian, or spouse of legal drinking age may be sold or served alcohol beverages in any licensed premises such as bars and restaurants. People under the age of 21 also are allowed to drink alcohol at a private residence if they are accompanied by a parent, and guardian. The catch is underage drinking parties were still not supposed happen despite that loophole.

Based on these loopholes I mentioned, people under the age of 21 are not supposed to drive after drinking alcohol. The thing is Wisconsin's driving laws for minors under 18 or for first 9 months as a driver. Wisconsin only allows 1 passenger in a car outside your intermediate family or qualified adult. The other rule is no diving from midnight to 5 in the morning, unless the minor is traveling home and school or work. Those rules for the first 9 months as a driver can be extended till the person turns 18.

When I was in high school the drinking age was 18 in Texas. I was one of the younger people in my graduating class of 592 students in 1980, and didn’t turn 18 ‘til the October after I graduated. Then, on September 1st of 1981, the drinking age was raised to 19, so it was again illegal for me to buy booze ‘til my 19th birthday on October 20th. Fortunately, a few years later when they raised it to 21, I was already 22.

This just changed my whole outlook on Dazed & Confused. Never occurred to me drinking age might not be 21

I watched until about lap 60, before we went to visit with my MIL.
I still remember the Swede Savage crash coming out of turn four in ‘73. Horrific. He died in the hospital 33 days later. Plus, one of Savage’s teammates pit crew members rushing towards the scene down pit road got run over by a fire truck and died instantly.
The race was actually run on a Wednesday, due to rain delays. Savage was only 26 when he passed.
