I never went to any drag racing events. I did watch some on TV.

My dad was involved in racing. My dad had a job working at Milwaukee Mile in the pits in the early 70s. Wisconsin had stock car racing in the 70's, but NASCAR was not part of stock car racing in Wisconsin at the time. The biggest stock car series that visited Wisconsin was USAC. USAC had a stock car series at one time besides having Indycar races, and sprint car races.

My dad did work in the pits in the early 70s because of one of his neighbors was involved in USAC or the race track one way or another. My dad's job was to put out pit fires if there was any during USAC races at the Milwaukee Mile.

I recalled my dad mentioning that he met the drivers/ USAC and also ate with them during a all you can eat pancake breakfast at the race track. The people in question is AJ. Foyt, the Unsers, Jack Bowsher and others.

Very familiar with A.J. Foyt…a fellow Texan that won the Indy 500 4 times…!!! :)

Instead of wasting all this public money in court, just put him in the tiger cage he was tryin’ to get into in the first place, and let them work it out…!!!!! :D🤣
What I'm trying to figure out is what his attorney (yes, he had one) has in mind. (They return to Court in April.) I'm probably over simplifying the situation, but if it was me, I'd just pay the fines for the 2 misdemeanor charges, and call it a day. 🤷‍♀️

Great fruit, but I am a bit surprised there is a national Strawberry day today.

That might be caused by me living in Wisconsin since Strawberries grow in Wisconsin don't show up till June in local markets including the ones in Door County. The first thing comes to mind to me is strawberry shortcake and is something I grew up with as a summer dessert.

Depending on the year they start showing up in May around here but peak in June
