Apparently Donald too!
Well, I guess that’s better than the nothing-at-all down below he usually “wears”…!!!!!
Apparently Donald too!
Although it's not plaid in design, I think with the multiple creases in the fabric, it's actually a kilt that Mickey is wearing. Very stylish! Why is Mickey wearin’ a skirt…?!?!?!
Say it with me now…
“Not that there’s anything wrong with that.”…!!!!!

Pluto is my favourite planet, and sorry Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Pluto is still a planet in my Universe.

Actually...the cartoon seems to be of the characters in Japan. And if you look at Goofy, he's wearing very wide, flared, pleated pants. I think the pleats just causes the "pants" to translate badly for Mickey and Donald.Although it's not plaid in design, I think with the multiple creases in the fabric, it's actually a kilt that Mickey is wearing. My author friend who is being published went to Canada a few years back and she had always wanted to do a dogsledding thing, so she booked that. I don't remember if she went as research for a book, or if the experience just resulted in an idea for a book, but my favorite of hers involved a wolf, and I'm pretty sure she got the idea from the dogsledding, because while they were out, a pack of wolves followed them. She was terrified and had nightmares for ages, but there's some wolf sanctuary in England, so she visited and talked to an expert there, and when she described the wolves' behavior, he said it didn't sound aggressive, but more curious. The wolves didn't attack or anything, just ran alongside them. Still terrifying, since they didn't know whether they MIGHT attack, but she's gone back to that sanctuary several times now for research that she's used in some of her books. So, yesterday was interesting. Was walking around the local nature area, and about 80 feet off in the distance I stopped short -- saw a large wolf (doing his scent marking routine). Unfortunately, he was right at the beginning of a dirt trail (although still covered in snow) that I sometimes use. Nope, nope, nope -- I backed away very slowly, and kept looking over my shoulde as I retreated.. Luckily, he had other things to attend to, and either did not seem me, or decided I posed no risk as I left. (Mating season for wolves, and also coyotes up here is late Jan. through mid-March. They can all be especially whack-a-doodles during this time.)
