YUP. Actually they always tend to run behind the trends. Cupcakes, cronuts, spirit jerseys...................... . Then they milk it for everything they're worth and over do it. It didn't used to be that way. They were never uber current but it's gotten worse the past decade or so

Oh yea, I jest, but, Walt’s company has turned into as sad a company as anything can turn into.
Our grown children were pretty much raised on it, but, also can’t stand what TWDC has become.
We’ll be passing for a very long time, and have obviously had much better travel experiences for a very long time.
It doesn’t mean we’ll ever lose our love for Disney gone by, but, we’re also not gonna’ contribute to the stupid it has become.
YMMV…………….

Hubby's Grandmother had a stash of blackberry wine that she "used for medicinal purposes". Yeah, right, Grandma. :joyfull:
I am not a bit surprised. She might've been scared of doctors. She might've been self medicating.

That is not different than what I heard of I heard of one a person was scared of going to dentist. That person's answer was drink booze and do own dental work after drinking booze.

You'll love this one -- from my grandmother. :D Ready? She insisted that a sore throat could be cured by whiskey. Remember sugar cubes? She'd pour whiskey in a small (like a shot glass), and then put in a sugar cube, to make it sweeter to drink. She tried that with me once (I was about 8 at the time), and I spit it out. :hilarious: Said I'd "live" with the sore throat instead.
Makes sense to me.

On another note from this recent trip…
Our home in Austin is exactly 1,000 feet above sea level. The 1,000 ft. mark runs, literally, right across our west property line.
We went up to about 6,900 ft. in Ruidoso, and on up to over 10,000 ft. above sea level on that mountain road, on our way to the gondola ride, before we turned around to go back to the snow tubing place at about 8,000 ft.
The air was thinner, but, yet colder, so more condensed, so I never had any “altitude” problems, regarding “altitude sickness” at all.
Back at 1,000 ft. my heart rate is so low it’s cracking me up…!!!!! :hilarious:

Dad: None of these new computers come preinstalled with anything.
Me: What did you want installed on it?
Dad: Word and Microsoft Money
Me: ...Dad, I installed both of those on your computer...
Gods no. Preinstalling is mostly garbage.
Did you know the news about Norton being so dirty they install a very inefficient crypto miner by default and that they get an staggering 15-25% cut per transfer? (average being 2%)

I watched way more Looney Tunes than Mickey Mouse when I was young, because they were shown on Saturday mornings and after school.
Reruns of The Mickey Mouse Club were also shown after school at one point.
I once found this huge book about 20th Century animation in one of the local libraries. Along with Disney, there was Warner Brothers, MGM, Hanna-Barbera, etc., animation.
Guys like Max Fleischer, Chuck Jones, Tex Avery, etc.
It was awesome…wish I could remember title... 🤔
Mickey Mouse/Disney certainly weren’t the only game in town.
I didn't watch a whole lot of cartoons. They came on pretty early on Saturday morning and I was usually still sleeping. I'd get so mad at my brother, who was addicted to cartoons, because he'd come banging on my door and running into my room "Cartoons are on!!!" Like, I don't care! Why are you waking me up for some stupid cartoon?? If Loony Tunes were on I'd watch them, or smurfs, but I wasn't into a whole lot of TV. I did like Kids Incorporated and the Mickey Mouse club....those came on after school, and my brother would make fun of me for watching little kid shows, while he watched GI Joe and He-man, which weren't. Yeah....He-man is the height of sophistication and maturity in TV.

@Goofyernmost , just thinking that maybe your thread about Microsoft 365 may get some responses, if you put it in the Technology forum (under General Chat & Non-WDW Discussion). Reason is that many people don't visit the Chit Chat threads, but some interested in tech issues, visit the Technology forum.

I got the answer, just not on the thread. Thanks for the suggestion. I knew about the more Tech forum but I also knew the many on here are quite savvy when it comes to computers.
