There is another thing to look at. John Madden's death started a 3 of deaths for NFL legends.

Dan Reeves died on January 1st and Don Maynard died today. Dan Reeves is a consider a NFL legend since he was a Super Bowl Head coach 4 times. I only knew Dan Reeves as a head coach growing up although I did read he did play in the 1967 Ice Bowl. Not a lot of head Coaches coached in more super bowls than he did.

Dan Maynard is before my time, but he is a hall of fame Wide Receiver.

I definitely remember Dan Reeves. He played for the Dallas Cowboys all 8 seasons he played in the NFL, before he got into coaching.
I know he was a color commentator on a weekly NFL radio broadcast after he retired from coaching, but, he wasn’t nearly as famous/prominent as Madden was after he retired from coaching.
Madden had the Miller Lite commercials, the video games, the prominent TV broadcast career, etc.
I don’t remember ever hearing of Dan Maynard until you mentioned him in your post.
Sad.

Leave us not forget that literally thousands of people die every day. That three conspiracy repeats over and over again everyday.

How does he get through the gate by himself?
He doesn't. He needs me or Mom. He only went once with B and he and Mom had to swap phones because his phone has no data, and she had to give him a tutorial before he went.

He does know how to use MDE, though. Last trip I took a picture of him every time he was on his phone. Although some of the time it was checking Orioles scores.

How is he going to manage when you move out and how long before your mother either becomes your roommate or needs bail money?

I honestly don't get why they don't have that option as not everybody has a smart phone or in the case of your father need a child to operate one
I don't know either. There are people like dad's old boss out there.

My dad's old work was forced to change their smart phone policy years ago. What happened was the company wanted all bosses to have smart phones. The other bosses saw how bad dad's boss was so bad with a smart phone and decided to give have a normal flip phone instead.

The sad part is my dad's 82 year old mother is better with a smartphone/iPad than he is.

Although I did have to laugh at her because she was getting on a Zoom call and the password was written as PW: 123xyz and she put in the password as "PW: 123xyz". With the PW abbreviation. 😂

Watchin’ the college national championship football game. Still don’t understand how many plays I’ve seen where defensive players go in to tackle an offensive player and just try to bump the guy down instead of wrappin’ ‘em up and draggin’ their face down into the turf…a bump definitely doesn’t nearly equate to a tackle as many times an actual tackle does… :cyclops:

SWW diehard guests would sleep overnight Thu Fri Sat In the hot humid nights in May and June at the DHS turnstiles on the sidewalk, hundreds of them to get in line for the coveted autograph signing tickets that quickly sell out in the morning. During the day there was a 501st Legion ( I think that is what this fanatical group is called ) parade down Hollywood Blvd of guests dressed in their SW costumes.
My apologies for replying to this 4 months after it was posted but I have to tell you I STRONGLY disagree with your description of the 501st Legion as a fanatical group. I am a proud member of this group and have been since 2015.

The 501st was always a favorite part of SWWs. Thank you
ps sleeping on the sidewalk was also fun as everybody was friendly
