I actually have a tomato in my frig.
I have carrots and celery, and some apples! Oh, and iceberg lettuce, though that doesn't have a whole lot of nutritional value, but E takes a salad for lunch every day and she doesn't like the mixtures with various green leafy stuff, so I have to get her plain iceberg lettuce. But I've got chicken pot pie in the slowcooker right now! I hope it's good. We finally got out the slowcooker last week, and we tried to make chicken noodle soup, but it was AWFUL!! Lesson learned....Rosemary and Thyme don't belong in chicken soup! This is the 2nd thing we've tried in the slow cooker, so I hope it's better than the soup was. 🤞

I like a slow cooker any day over an instantpot. IMO, slow cookers are so much easier to use. :)

I've never used an instapot. Slow cookers weren't really available over here until just a few years ago. It's not a "thing" here, but last year, they finally had one in a sale, and I snatched it up, but we had never tried it out. A lot of the recipes seem to call for things we can't get here, like cream of chicken or cream of celery soup. A lot of the "convenience foods" you have in the US don't exist here, so everything has to be made from scratch. We don't have things like canned pizza dough, or biscuits, for example. And we don't have cool whip, so a lot of quick desserts are impossible. But so far, I'm finding that the slow cooker doesn't really save me any time. I still have to chop all the veggies and such. The only difference between using the slow cooker and a pan is that the slow cooker takes longer and doesn't require stirring. But it's not as much of a time saver as I was hoping for.

I've used my instapot more as a slow cooker than anything else. I use it for when I don't want to cook over a stove for things like soups or something.

I have also never bought canned dough or cool whip. :)

Can you get romaine lettuce it has more nutritional value than iceburg but still has some crunch. You can make any soup or stew in the slow cooker that you have a recipe for. You don't have to use only "slow cooker" recipes

I don't think romaine is one we can get in the fresh produce....maybe in the precut. We only have 2 kinds in the fresh section. Iceberg and what looks like maybe Boston lettuce? I don't know what it's called in English. It's called Kropsla here. But they have prewashed and cut lettuce in bags, and it does look like they have romaine in that, but I don't know if E would eat it. She doesn't like the "fancy" lettuce with all the different kids mixed in. When we do tacos or tostadas or anything, I have to get iceberg for her and a mix with several different kinds for myself and M.
