There are so many varieties of lettuce you never see in stores, each year I plant a variety I have never eaten. Have found some easy good varieties

I put variety mix salad seeds in planters. In Illinois hearty enough late April. So many bright colors until warmer until I can plant Annuals

Wegman's usually has a good variety of salad greens but not as good as my local farm market

Oh, I discovered today that Target has lettuce. Since we're having tacos tonight, I bought a bag of shredded iceberg lettuce -- easy peasey!

It's cold so I only bought about 10 pounds of salad greens. I really like the new car it has heated everything and the back seats flip down so I can get more groceries in one trip.
I love Wegman's they had a case of tofu, a few pantry items and all my milks put aside for me for curbide at 6:30 seeing it was my 2nd stop

But, how does that explain Betty White, John Madden, Sidney Poitier, AND now Bob Saget, all in such a short time…?!

There is another thing to look at. John Madden's death started a 3 of deaths for NFL legends.

Dan Reeves died on January 1st and Don Maynard died today. Dan Reeves is a consider a NFL legend since he was a Super Bowl Head coach 4 times. I only knew Dan Reeves as a head coach growing up although I did read he did play in the 1967 Ice Bowl. Not a lot of head Coaches coached in more super bowls than he did.

Dan Maynard is before my time, but he is a hall of fame Wide Receiver.

I thought about a salad, but I think our lettuce might be part of the lettuce recall from Walmart. I haven't bothered to check yet.
