Betty White passed
That sucked. My parents were fans of hers. I remembered her from multiple shows including reruns of the match game.

I didn't recall her having any medical issues recently. I thought she was going to a be a rare celebrity to reach their 100th birthday like George Burns.

The producers for her 100 birthday movie special already mentioned the special still be released on her birthday despite her death.

There has been so much news about Betty the last 7-10 days. Seems now obvious that most media kept it under their hat. Unusual but sweet, she deserved her final privacy.

Well, we both worked, Brian picked up the dog and met me at a La Quinta on the other side of town. I can hear some boomers outside here and there, but the pup is unaffected thus far. She and her other Daddy are both catching Zzzz's.
I had to wait for the stores to close at 7PM to see the final numbers for the year (amazing) and to wait for dinner to be delivered (in a few minutes.) We ordered Italian, so in addition to our entrees, I got a sausage & pepper sandwich to split at midnight (traditional Italian NYE thing.) I'll wake him up for dinner and for midnight, but he needs to sleep as much as possible - he has to get up for work at 4AM. Kylie and I will sleep in and then go home later LOL.

In case I fall asleep, too: HNY to everyone. (P.S. It's still in the 70's here so far as well!)5DCBEB12-CCFF-44FE-80CF-CF1FADEE86E6.jpeg

I know a guy who retired to FL who worked on the essential road crew during winter time in NJ. He advised if he didn't report to work to help salt and plow the NJ Turnpike he would be fired. I knew a guy that lived in Florence SC. One year the city got 4 inches of snow and the city was paralyzed.
In the eleven plus years I have lived in NC I have seen everything closed because of two inches and all schools closed for a half inch.

I have been clicking back and forth all night between Anderson/Andy and “A Haunting.” Nothing is funnier than Anderson Cooper drunk, but I don’t have The Travel Channel at home anymore, and I’ve missed so many new “A Haunting” episodes!

ETA: after all that, I fell asleep briefly, and woke up at 12:02!! LOL. What a doofus.
