@Mr Ferret 88 , is everything closed down on your island today? (Mostly everything closed down in my area for the holiday -- just wondering if that's the same overseas.)

It's so quiet outside, that it seems like it's a Sunday, but it's only Saturday -- this is strange! :p
Closed today. Open tomorrow. Closed (mostly) Monday. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Oh my. We’re definitely cooling off here and there for a while, but, no carp in the near future.

We are ringing in the New Year with sunshine as well and negative temps. This morning it was -9 and will get to a high of 1. Tomorrow it should be a balmy -19! 🤪 :) Today I would rather have sunshine and cold than it be a little warmer and have snow.

The NHL outdoor winter classic game is this evening and in Minneapolis. Hubs and I had thought about getting tickets and now I'm glad we decided not to, it is on track to be the coldest winter classic game yet. We will watch it in the comfort of our home.

And Happy Birthday to your Pops!

The weather guy mentioned the “ S” word for tomorrow night.😯😯

Sun? HAHAHA! We have about 6 inches of the white stuff on the ground right now. It snowed here when we were visiting the in-laws in Chicago so B called up some of his confirmation students and offered them community service hours to shovel the driveway so we wouldn't have to come home and do that. The kids actually did a nice job, and shoveled the mailbox area too.
