The name sounded familiar to me because a popular author has a very similar name.

Exactly....my immediate thought was "Isn't she a famous author?" but apparently that's Patricia CornWELL, not Cornwall. This woman is in Baywatch and was some sort of model. Still a well-known person, but I am a reader, and I don't watch baywatch or follow any models, so I didn't recognize the name from that.
