If I'm not mistaken, don't they usually throw the (rare) blue ones back in the ocean?Rare cotton candy lobster caught in Maine. Friend not food https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/rare-cotton-candy-lobster-caught-in-maine/ar-AAQyHpl?ocid=msedgntpView attachment 600045
I was a bit confused about the (2021) date of Remembrance Day overseas, as it seemed like it was the same date as our Veterans Day (here in the U.S.). Has that happened before? Sending respects for your day of remembrance as well.
Might have mentioned this in the past, but it seems like N.C. has some very large car places. Not recently, but maybe about 8-9 years ago when my brother lived over in the Greensboro area, he had a part-time job to bring in a little extra money. What he did was work for one of those huge car places, as a car driver during the auctions. He and a bunch of other guys would drive multiple cars (in a day) very slowly around a track route; and prospective dealers and individuals would go over and ask the drivers how the car handled, etc.I live next door to a huge CarMax location that has literally hundreds of vehicles for sale and just up the road two miles is an Auction Direct USA also with literally hundreds of cars on the lot. It is hard to see where the shortage is around here. Maybe it is just the big name dealers that are having a rough time coming up with trade in's because people have held back on buying a new vehicle.

I've personally bought 3 cars at an auction. It is a big risk but all but one was a very good car. The other had what seemed to be an unfixable problem so I traded it in for my last Cadillac that I bought at a dealership. And yes, I told them about the problem, they seemed unconcerned.Might have mentioned this in the past, but it seems like N.C. has some very large car places. I don't know where all the cars came from, but he said the car auction place was large. Apparently, there was more than one of these large car auctions in N.C.

World War I ended in Europe on that date. November 11, 1918 at 11am. When it was a world wide official thing it was called Armistice Day.I was a bit confused about the (2021) date of Remembrance Day overseas, as it seemed like it was the same date as our Veterans Day (here in the U.S.). Aww man.. no bacon for tonight then? So, I’m back to drivin’ my ol’ country backroad both to and from the office again, because the freeway is back to nutso again, both ways.
Anyway, on my way home tonight I was making one of the many blind curves and all of a sudden there is about a 300lb. feral hog about 1/3 of the way out into my lane, that I had to swerve around to miss. If it’d been directly in my lane, it woulda’ been a big mess all the way around.
Talk about gettin’ your heart rate up…!!!!!
Wow that was close. I know some in Northeast that have these devices on their front bumper to deter oncoming deer with ultrasonic sound. I'm not sure if it works but even in the early morning hours when we stayed at Coronado at WDW I saw Bambi crossing the main road. Work for hogs too?So, I’m back to drivin’ my ol’ country backroad both to and from the office again, because the freeway is back to nutso again, both ways.
