I read that those machines are very expensive. Never tried Nespresso, but I have Cuisinart and Keurig at home, and they both make good coffee. (I like the Cuisinart better, not just that it makes various sizes of pots and cups, but I think their machines make great coffee.) I use the Keurig for a quick cup of coffee (either Peets or Starbucks French Roast K-cups).
I have the K-cups you can put your own coffee in. Seeing we have 3 coffee drinkers the single use would be rather expensive not to mention the amount of plastic that would wind up in the landfill. I have a rather old Mr Coffee that needs to get upgraded at some point but it hasn't died yet so that can wait. I also like the coffee from the french press but that's a bit of a pita to clean

I'm not a scientist, but I know a lot of places that were previously really hot have seen more snow in the last few years because as the ice melts, the wind blows the cold air and creates colder temperatures in certain places. At least, that's the way I understand it, but again, science is my worst subject, so take it with a grain of salt. But just look at @donaldtoo 's weather report posts....not nearly as many triple digits this past year. And wasn't there a snow storm that covered up a bunch of solar panels so they were out of electricity for a few days?

Yes, we had “SNOWMAGEDDON 2021!!!!!!!!!!!” back in February, and in all of 2021, we only had 10 days at or above 100 degrees, with 5 of those days being in September. The yearly average is 29 days at or above 100, and the record is 90 days back in 2011.
We’ve been back here for 46+ years, and I can’t remember a cooler summer.
Funny thing is, we’re still havin’ daily highs in the low-mid 90’s…it got up to 94 here today, and they’re predicting Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will top out at 93, 95, and, 97, respectively.
It’s almost the middle of October, and we’ve had no significant cool front to speak of, so far.

There is no 100 days all year, but we not done for 70 degree days. Sunday has a chance to be 80 degrees.

Right now it looks like no highs in the 50s. It doesn't look like any highs in the 50s not till past October 22nd. That is a bit odd compared to the last couple years.
