The dog in the foreground looks a lot like Jack. (Jack also has Chow in his mix of God only knows what :hilarious: ), but the face, coloring, etc., are almost identical to how Jack looks.

That’s “Ranger Danger”.
Both he and “Belle-ee Crazy Cakes” are Black Lab mixes. Best we can tell, R with Pit Bull, and B with German Shepherd. They’re both pound pups.
R also has the nickname Chewbacca, due to a certain playful, silly growl he has sometimes...I wish I had video of it, but, the timing has never worked out...!!!!! :hilarious:

Our band teacher recently got hearing aids, and she said they have changed her life. They even have bluetooth so tv's and other electronics that have bluetooth can go directly to her hearing aid and she can adjust volume that way so others don't have to have the tv cranked for her. I wish they would have had those for my mom's peace of mind when she was alive, not for her use but for my dad's. He needed hearing aids but refused and would crank the volume of everything to her dismay, she would have loved to get him something to control the volume on things so she didn't have to hear it blast. Side note, a few months after my mom passed he finally agreed to get hearing aids.
Men!!! Go figure.

Had some bad news yesterday my brother called and said my cousin was killed in a freak hot air ballon accident in VT. He was the same age as me and we grew up together. My cousin (Brian Boland) was considered one of the best hot air balloonist in the world he set world records and ballooned over the Alps and Andes. So sad -- he died doing what he loved --RIP cousin brian-boland-vermont.jpg

Are you sure they aren't just deaf? My husband has hearing aids now, but if he doesn't put them in, he has to turn up the volume really high to hear anything. My in-laws do the same thing....leave the hearing aids out and instead turn up the tv so it's blasting at max and the rest of us can't hear ourselves think. I tried to combat it once with noise canceling headphones, but it was still really loud.
My hubby’s Dad lays his on the table in front of his charger and thinks they charge. He never puts them in until somebody tells him🤦🏻‍♀️

I got hearing aids through the VA it took me awhile to get used to using them everything sounded too loud but now I wear them if we go out or watching TV. They have a remote so I can listen to the TV at my volume and the wife can listen thought the TV. Gotta say it sure has made life better I don't have to hear "THE TV IS TOO LOUD TURN IT DOWN"

Sorry for your family's loss. It sounds like he was an interesting person and brave to be in those hot air balloons.

Brian was one of those people who are very creative, very artistic, and very eccentric he had his own museum on his VT farm of stuff he collected over the years. I can remember he showed up at the house in a VW van with a huge tire on the roof. Turns out it was a used space shuttle tire he got from Cape Canaveral. I remember asking him Brian what are you going to do with that his reply "it's for my museum" He had a remarkable life even at 72 taken too soon
