The annual run to the garden center went well:joyfull: I got some pretty flowers, ghost chili peppers for the boys, fertilizer and note to self do not bring the dh! he got lettuce plants:cautious: If I wanted to grow lettuce I would have ordered seeds but he needed to have his work ID hanging from the mirror when we drove in to get the discount and shop when we did. Same set up as last year cash drawer out or call in your credit card:joyfull:

I stopped at the garden center yesterday too. I have all the plants I wanted but now I have to plant them. I think we need a couple bags of dirt too to add to our raised beds. I didn't have room in my car for the dirt yesterday, not with all my plants and groceries! Anyway, it is supposed to rain the next couple days so that its delaying my planting.

Confusing day today. On one hand kind of joyous because for the first time in months my back has allowed me to walk a solid portion of our local mall. That is great! Bad news: as I walked past the Disney store here in the mall I had to gaze upon a giant sign that said
“this store is closing”. I always look forward to seeing that store with the big Disney sign and the smiling Mickey face. One more thing disappearing. (Picture wasn't taken today. The entire store is 50% off right now.)

Too bad about the store closing. The closest one to us, which is at the Mall of America, is closing too. Last weekend it was only 25% off, but there wasn't anything we wanted.

Yay about being able to walk the mall though!

It gives you time to get the dirt you need. I may be a bag or 2 short but I have a pack animal on Friday:joyfull: I never count on having everything in until Memorial day so I'll still be a week ahead of schedule seeing the weather finally broke:inlove:

The like was for working within your limitations:joyfull: Good luck getting poked
Yeah got side tracked from a lot of stuff today plus I started working on the Drink Drunk Cart!

Basic construction is done for the frame, it will be a mobile, wooden, all terrain drink cart (no namby pampy small caster wheels).

A few features:
* 2 feet by 4 feet, about 3 feet from ground to surface area
* Cooler
* Access to cooler via a hinged lid on the main bar area
* as mentioned 8" semi-rigid wheels
* Polyurethane top
* stained (color YTBD)
* galvanized pipe holder for umbrella
* galvanized pipe handle (12-18" in length, about 2 inches in depth
* towel hooks
* bottle cap opener
* planning on racks for 2 wine bottle size and 3 alcohol bottle sizes holes so they can stand vertically.
* Nook for the Margarita maker.
* Bottle cap open attached to side.
* metal attachment for mower attachment pin so it can be towed behind one of my lawn tractors
* Electrical junction box so I can plug it into power
* Cable hooks so electrical cord can be stowed

I'm hoping to get everything in before the 28th. We have company (my sister & family) coming over that weekend. But I really want things to look good for June 4th. Brad and I are hosting a little end of the school year tiki party for some of the teachers I work with.
