Easter menu Smoker: Ham, sausage, mac and cheese, onion bombs, baked beans
Other sides: Salad, cornbread, potato salad, leeks cooked with bacon and tomatoes
The Easter Menu for me has been changed. It is now going to have Butterfly Porkchops and potatoes for sure.

It replaces Turkey with the turkey being used a week later. What happened was my Brother is going to work on Easter and the Butterfly Porkchops are going to being easier. Turkey was looked at due to my younger brother's turkey coupon from work was going to expire and that coupon makes the turkey free.

Yea, me too. It has been years since I have felt really sick. I have had times when things were uncomfortable, but I never thought of it as sickness. Until this I can't remember the last time I had a fever that I could actually tell was a fever. Even when I had sepsis, I felt terrible and close to death, but not fever type sick. Anyway, it was still worth the minor upset if it prevents me from becoming one of the Covid statistics. At my age, that is a real possibility. I have now had all my shots Covid, regular Flu, shingles and probably rabies, distemper and heart worm for all I know. Years ago when I was in the service they shot me with more vaccines that I think we even had nameable virus's to match. Add my pacemaker to that mess and I do believe it may be difficult to actually die. But I guess that there is no vaccine to prevent getting hit by a bus.

I feel you there. The JandJ burned and I said, no worries it's not as bad as yellow fever vaccine, and the lay was so shocked I had that one. And smallpox. And anthrax 😂😂

I really really REALLY HATE the app update 🙄🙄🙄🙄

I load the pictures individually. They show up fine. I hit post. And then they're all links. Grrrrrr.

And it takes forever to edit them back in 😭😭

My son's wife (teacher) had her second Phizer shot on Friday and had a bad reaction to it Friday and Saturday --really bad body aches, nausea, and vomiting. Poor thing stayed in bed all day. She seems to feel better today, she had no reaction to the first shot.
So sorry to hear your daughter in law had a bad reaction. I'm due to get my second Pfizer shot April 14th. Hopefully I will do a bit better.
Anyone on this forum had their 2nd Pfizer shot and want to give your personal report regarding how you made out afterwards?

My 82 year old mother got both Pfizer shots. On her first she had mild arm pain for two hours after the shot. On her second shot she had itchyness and arm pain for one hour after the shot. My brother's friend got her first Pfizer shot. She was battling fatigue and constant headaches for a few days after the shot . My mother fared better than me. On my second Moderna shot I dealt with side effects for a day.

Thanks for the feedback. I googled "Pfizer Second shot reactions" and I discovered that the younger adults are commonly reacting to the second shot more than those who are older. The author of the article speculated that this was due to the fact that young people have stronger immune systems than older folks. Especially 55+ were not frequently experiencing much symptoms after their 2nd shot.
