Boy, am I glad to see sunshine today!! We had over 4.5 inches of rain yesterday. It thundered, had heavy rain bands, and lightning all day and most of last night until around 2 or 3 a.m. A tornado went about 10 miles south of us and did some wind damage. We have river flooding through Sunday. Whew!

Our news showed pictures of the destruction from a tornado in Alabama...I guess several people died, but I didn't catch how many. And it sounded like there were multiple tornadoes. Are you safe?

Thanks! Yes it passed us by below us. Dd is safe too. They had some circulation this time but no tornado. This is going to be a tough spring with this weather already.

@StarWarsGirl we can’t watch our Braves. Hulu gave up fox sports south. And we can’t get it on mlb network because they black us out. We are soo disappointed!! Alas, we may have to become Boston fans??

Currently watchin’ a Barrett-Jackson auto auction on History Channel. Very much appreciate the restored to original over the customs.
An originally restored ‘69 Camaro Z/28, with the 302 short-stroke engine, just sold for 100K...!!!!!!!

I knew as soon as I saw it spelled how it was pronounced, but I don't think I would have when I was in my 20s. When I moved here and went to school to learn Dutch, I had classmates from all over. I had to have Niwanthi spell her name for me before I could figure out what she was saying her name was. I need to see it spelled so I can make a connection between the letters and the sounds they make.

Even Ranjit thought it was hilarious...language barriers can be quite funny sometimes...!!!!!
