@StarWarsGirl we can’t watch our Braves. 😡Hulu gave up fox sports south. 😟 And we can’t get it on mlb network because they black us out. We are soo disappointed!! Alas, we may have to become Boston fans?? 😉

Speaking of Boston, they had the first game with fans at the Bruins game yesterday, I think 2500 people out of 18000 could go. I watched the first few minutes just to see but it was kind anti-climatic.

The thought of Jolly Ranchers always makes me laugh because one of the principals that use to be at our school was known for giving them out. Kids knew if they got sent to the office they would get a Jolly Rancher. One time a kid locked himself in a bathroom stall and was refusing to come out and the principal started bribing him with Jolly Ranchers. I think it took a few Jolly Ranchers to get the kid out of the stall.
That is new one for Bathroom stuff. I didn't recall students locking themselves in bathroom stalls at the schools I attended.

The Boy's bathroom in the basement back in grade School was good sized with the sink area being the middle with the plumbing pipes around the ceiling. The pipes were 2 or 3 feet above the the sink area at least according to memory. What happened was there was student that got in trouble multiple times for jumping and hanging on plumbing pipes on the ceiling. I recalled seeing that multiple times and that student got in trouble for it by other teachers and even once by the principal.

I don't think the grade school principal in my era gave students Jolly Ranchers. The Principal did have a something like a outdoor Carnival or a festival for the students with tickets for attracts that you could earn. It had stuff like a dunk pool that if you hit the target, the teacher gets lands in water. It happened in May or June in my era. I doubt it still happens considering a couple key facts. The Principal the school had left sometime in the 90s or 2000s and the Grade School I went to is now a Grade school/Middle School unlike my time there.

That That school added 7th and 8 graded sometime in the 2000s and it was only up to 6th grade when I was there.

Hulu has blocked out our Fox sports north so I haven't been able to watch any Wild hockey games this year, so I feel your pain. There was a game on MNBC the other night but we couldn't watch it because FSN was carrying it too but not on Hulu.

This kid had a lot of behavior issues. So locking himself in the bathroom was pretty tame.

Anyway, the carnival things sounds cool.

Mine only lasted 2 hours, so hopefully you are over it by now.

It was really bad there for about 24 hours. Fever, chills, muscle aches, and really really tired. And a headache. But it's all gone today, without even a residual migraine. So all in all, not too bad. But I forgot how miserable it feels to be sick, since I haven't been sick at all during the pandemic

Yea, me too. It has been years since I have felt really sick. I have had times when things were uncomfortable, but I never thought of it as sickness. Until this I can't remember the last time I had a fever that I could actually tell was a fever. Even when I had sepsis, I felt terrible and close to death, but not fever type sick. Anyway, it was still worth the minor upset if it prevents me from becoming one of the Covid statistics. At my age, that is a real possibility. I have now had all my shots Covid, regular Flu, shingles and probably rabies, distemper and heart worm for all I know. Years ago when I was in the service they shot me with more vaccines that I think we even had nameable virus's to match. Add my pacemaker to that mess and I do believe it may be difficult to actually die. But I guess that there is no vaccine to prevent getting hit by a bus.
