Don't I know it!!! You wouldn't believe some of the mistakes I or my friends have made in Dutch. I asked for a "broom and lightning" because dustpan is "blik" and lightning is "bliksom" and I got them mixed up. I also asked my husband's employer if I could do his grocery shopping (either that or I asked if I could poop for him) because the word "boodschap" is used for "message", "groceries", or can be kind of slang for bowel movement. It depends on which verb you use....like "give" a message, "do" the grocery shopping, etc. And the funniest one, my friend from France....Even Ranjit thought it was hilarious...language barriers can be quite funny sometimes...!!!!!![]()

I had my second Pfizer shot on St. Patrick's Day. My arm was sore again, like after the first shot. And I was very tired, later that night, and the next day. That was it.So sorry to hear your daughter in law had a bad reaction. I'm due to get my second Pfizer shot April 14th. Hopefully I will do a bit better.
Anyone on this forum had their 2nd Pfizer shot and want to give your personal report regarding how you made out afterwards?
Sore is fine with me. I'm glad that is all you experiencedI had my second Pfizer shot on St. Patrick's Day. My arm was sore again, like after the first shot. And I was very tired, later that night, and the next day. That was it.
I understand, completely. I will say, I did have to have a backup plan in place for school, just in case. Glad I didn't need to use it.Sore is fine with me. I'm glad that is all you experienced
I would just like to avoid vomiting if at all possible
(Another poster mentioned his daughter experienced that unfortunate side effect)
Raleigh has started accumulating pine pollen already. I go out to use my car and it is this weird combination of red/yellow. Happily, I don't have any allergies so it is just an annoyance to me.Nice to see the leaves on trees again but with that brings the pollen. Here in coastal SC the pine trees are in full swing with the pollen everything is covered in yellow pine pollen on a windy day you can see clouds of it. Love spring but my allergies kick in stuff nose itchy eyes--start the day off with Claritin.
