@ajrwdwgirl , you've mentioned in the past that you've made pulled pork. I have a question -- if you have leftovers that you won't use in a few days, can pulled pork be frozen for later use or not?
We freeze it all the time it's great for a quick meal-- pop it i the microwave and heat it up tastes as good as when you first make it

As a tip from one of your favorite Northerners (oh, not that you ever said that -- I just made that up!! :hilarious: ), it's good to start up your car each day, when it's in the deep freeze. This keeps the battery working properly.

When it's safe to drive (i.e., no ice on streets), take it out for a spin. (Best if you can get it out on a highway at higher speeds for a brief stretch -- as that's better than slower, local driving -- only during frigid times, for the battery.) I read about this tip years ago, so I'm just passing it along (at no charge! :p ) as you're not used to the deep freeze.
I have to modify that good advice by adding... If you are going to do that, which is good to keep everything lubricated, make sure you run it long enough to replace the stored electrical power in your battery. It takes a lot of energy to turn over a frigid car engine, if you don't replenish that power to the battery, the battery will not continue to be strong enough to start the car.
