Oh, we had about 1-2 inches of snow last night. Not much, I know, but at least we got some. It's really pretty outside!

I had one like that that told me I may upset the boys My parents sent my aunt with 2 masters and a PHD in science in to speak with them.

I considered taking it up with the school, but it doesn't seem to have made any of the girls think less of themselves, so I'll let it go for now. It just seemed misogyinistic, but I guess the girls are going to have to deal with that all their lives, so they might as well start proving those men wrong right now.

On the upside: There is a speech contest that the dual immersion classes are participating in and they chose the top 2 speeches in each of the 2 classes to do their speeches again and then the top one from those 4 goes on to the regionals in March. E won and goes on to regionals now. All of the top four were girls. Take that, Mr. Misogynist!

My DD first attempt at Gideon Chocolate Chip cookies. They should be a half a pound each. Hers are a little less than 1/2# as she doesn’t have an extra large cookie scoop just small and Large.

the dough requires solid cold butter vs softened and differently calls for Bread flour and cake
Flour, sea salt after baked but NO vanilla and oddly not
Missed. The cookie dough has two bags of chocolate chips and and another bag to roll the raw cookie dough ball. Have to refrigerate for 2 hours. She said she will

Two soups made this week in honor of all the heavy white stuff that has been falling out of the sky.

Grans Irish Chicken Soup with hollow noodles and GrNs Irish dumplings. Yeast bread with melted butter on top, granulated garlic, and sprinkled lightly with salt. Salt important as it brings out the yeast flavor
