I was rather surprised the stores were EMPTY when I went shopping this morning:eek::eek::eek: By empty I mean there was me and maybe 6 other customers in Walmart:eek::eek::eek: Wegman's was just as empty but that isn't as unusual Sunday at opening. I did a full pantry restock:joyfull: and they boys are still giving me dirty looks:cautious:

Isn't empty stores a good thing? I always try to go to empty stores (ie...right when they open or close) even before the pandemic.

Am I a trendsetter? 🤔

We were very slow early in the day as well. I was concerned because yesterday was insanely busy all day. But we got slammed around 3pm, back on track!

X2 but I'm surprised she noticed it wasn't working ;)

I didn't mind the cold (just put on a down vest over my sweatshirt). Hubs hates cold though. But my other concern was that if it got really cold at night, then you can have potential pipe freezing issues (although that might take a few days of temps below 20 at night). Yet, landlord was well aware of the possibility as well, so he put in for expedited service to get the technician over here quickly. (He was probably more concerned about his pipes, than us! :p )

Surprised? Everyone spent all their money already on Christmas presents. ;)

Anyone on this thread ever use Airbnb?
I went on the website and found a property ( Instead of a hotel when returning our daughter to college)
Like everything in the world I guess I'll have to sign up? Create a User Name and a Password?
Should I download an app?
Please give a newbee any advice.
Thanks!
Steve

Haven't used Airbnb but I have used Vrbo which is similar and had good experiences. I think the app might be helpful for communication with the owners, it was with Vrbo.
