Vet thinks it’s allergies. Finally giving her a Cytopoint shot which is supposed to last a few months. Poor thing was miserable the last couple of days, I hope it works. 🤞🏻
Oh I hope it works!!! Have you seen those buttons that people are teaching their pets to use so they can communicate? They are for non-verbal people, but pet owners have started teaching their pets to use them, so there are buttons for things like "Hungry" or "Outside" or "Walk, etc. This one doggy mommy said her dog has been able to alert her to pain a couple of times. She pressed the "Ouch" and "Help" buttons and gave her her paw....she had a thorn stuck in her paw. And another time she did that and the owner took her to the vet and she had an infected cut on her nose and needed antibiotics. She has a youtube channel called ianbunny and it's really cool to watch. There are several other people using them, but I don't know all their youtube channels. I know there's a dog named Stella, and she's the original one....her owner is a speech patholigist and she was the one who thought she could maybe teach Stella to use the buttons. That's how it got started apparently.

This just in at the store - imported from the UK:View attachment 512591

💕💕💕💕

are those.. chairs?

The metal in the back is confusing me. In the other hand, it says side A and Side B. So I presume they are original vinyls with music?
They are records! (In boxes in the trunk of my car at night - I can see where you saw “chair!”)

To show how different my two stores are: we had 4 at each store yesterday. One sold out in 3 hours. The other sold zero all day. I’m transferring 2 this morning. Wish I could get more! Distributor is out and item deleted from the catalog.

Well, good that he feels better, but not good that he tested positive. Did he still come to the event? Or did he start feeling unwell AFTER the event? I hope no one caught it from him!!! Good thinking to get tested before Thanksgiving!

How's Kylie? What did the vet say?
Supposedly he felt unwell after the event (so he was positive before coming to town.)

Kylie was a mess yesterday, worse than before the shot. She could barely walk and didn’t eat dinner - even with real chicken in it. By nighttime, I was hand feeding her little bits of fresh chicken and she took it, and kept it down. Just a little at a time. Just did that again this morning.

We called the vet and he said to give it 24 hours.

She is improved from what I’ve observed so far, still off and walking slowly but not wobbly or struggling like yesterday. My poor puppy. 😢

Still concerned, too early to tell. Just hoping the vet and the cure were correct.

Hrmmm....that sounds just a bit too coincidental...he just happened to make it to the event before he started to feel off? Not sure I buy it, but there's no way to prove otherwise, so I guess we'll just hope no one else has to pay the price for it!

I really hope Kylie is better soon....it's so hard to watch them suffer and not know exactly what's wrong. I'm so glad my kids are old enough now to tell me what hurts and how they feel. Otherwise it's so much guesswork. But, the vet has been to school and has more experience in this area....trust that that knowledge is sufficient and he'll know what to do next if it turns out this wasn't the solution. Sending you hugs. I'm sure you're stressed. (who wouldn't be?)
