Seeing you're not here we do keep peanutbutter in the house but that gets kept in a closed container along with anything chocolate because if not they go missing:cautious:
The only peanut butter available is the uncrustables. B has to throw away the package immediately if he eats one at home (in normal times, they're for school) and put his plate in the dishwasher. Fresh fruit that I'm allergic to is allowed if precut, but it has to be kept in a sealed container and cannot be eaten if I am in the room, especially pineapple. Utensils must be thrown away. If Mom or Dad want candy with nuts, Dad keeps it in his office or Mom keeps them in her room.

Dad was bringing home this pineapple pancake mix, but Mom banned that after he brought it home the last time and he wasn't doing a good job of keeping the cross contamination from the regular pancakes down. The strawberry jelly got banned for the same reason. Peanut butter because it kept getting cross contaminated in the grape jelly (there's also cherry and peach jam). No strawberry poptarts or breakfast bars because Mom worries I'll accidentally grab them instead of ones I can have.

Oddly, we've all gotten used to this. One time my grandma was visiting overnight and was greatly confused when she couldn't find peanut butter. We also don't buy it when we all go down to Hilton Head; she lives without it for a week.

I'm surprised your father hasn't been moved into the garage yet:angelic:

There's other options. The basement has the occasional cricket or spider but it's otherwise inhabitable. The cats took care of the mice. So if he really starts driving my mother crazy one day...options.

Like if he doesn't agree to get rid of the boxes of credit card statements from the 90s...

I upgraded to the new IPhone 12 Mini Yesterday. The young man at the TMobile store was very nice. He did my transfer for me. It did not take long at all. I am loving my new phone. My last phone was bigger. I am glad that I went back to the smaller phone.
Wow I didn't even know there was a iPhone 12. I still have my iphone6 . It still works, has a few battle scars and it has everything I need and it is paid for.

I have an 8. I will see no need to change unless it quits working or I have an overwhelming urge to empty my bank account or contact Mars via phone. Speaking of that. I mall walk 3 or 4 times a week and I am amazed at the constant line of people waiting to go in to the Apple store. In fact, they even have security guards (7 when I walked by the other day). The have also closed off their store by putting up a fake wall with window locations so people can't even enter the store. The old store went back from the entrance at least 40 feet. Now the barrier wall is just about 10 ft. into the store. You can't even see the merchandise. An employee appears to have to get it for you just so you can see what it looks like. No browsing. There appears to be many cults in this country. Apple is no exception. Some mornings there are upwards of 40 people waiting to get in. The only other one that is starting to rival it, is the new Amazon Store.
