Got a free 22 pound Butterball at BJā€™s last night - just had to buy 4 things off a specified list. (Toothpaste, Tide pods, etc.)
Just buying the Tide Pods could cover the cost of a Turkey. I buy them to and break into a sweet when I look at the price. However, in fairness, they do work well and are much more convenient than powders or liquids. One BJ box of Tide Pods lasts me for months. The beauty of living alone.

@Tony the Tigger , I hope Kylie will adjust to her medication for allergies. Dogs might be like people, in that a new medicine sometimes hits you like a ton of bricks initially, until your body adjusts to any change. Also, Kylie is a bit older, and the effects might be slightly more noticeable. Hoping she'll rally in another day or so.
I can vouch for the problems of "being a bit older". In all living things aging is not for the timid.

The pantry is finished being organized. I wouldn't think it would have been as big a project as it turned out to be

Been meaning to ask you -- just how much stuff did you all have to organize? We have 3 smallish, food cabinets (for pasta, canned items, cereal, Saran Wrap, foil, etc.) They're full now, as I bought more than we usually have. But if I was to do over any organization in the cabinets, it would probably take me 15 minutes.

So I'm intrigued about the details of your project. :p

Glad you were able to get Figgy to share a photo of her pantry re-org. project. ;) Mine is about 1/4 of all that she's stocked. And oh, it's not neat either--I just kind of threw all the things on the shelves and shut the cabinet doors. :hilarious: Sometimes, when I open one of the doors, stuff falls out, but I jump backwards so none of it falls on my feet. My system works out quite well. :p

We always keep at least 2 or 3 full weeks of food in the house once snow season is upon us, well that and I stock when there's a really good sale on items we regularly use. The pantry has 3 4 foot long shelving units the top shelf is set at 6 foot high the cleaning/laundry unit is 3 foot long, my dh built shelving for the homemade canned goods, there's an area for toilet paper and paper towels and the 5 gallon bottles of water now have their own rack.

I believe I've mentioned before Jim Cantore has shown up not far from here for quite a few snow storms. We're usually snowed in for a week when he does
