Well, I should be at Disney today; we’ve spent most of our previous 12 anniversaries there, with amazing dinners from the old Flying Fish Cafe to Tiffins to V&A’s. But the fancy dinners were not what made it special, it was just taking a moment to appreciate life together.

To prove that, today for our 13th, we’re catching a matinee at the local AMC Dine-In. 🤣

In all seriousness, grateful to be able to enter a mini-bubble for a couple of hours with phones off, away from my work and his Dad, and spend that time together.

First time since, I think, February (?) in a movie theater. Yes, I’m bringing wipes!

Corn, potato, onion, celery, carrot, tomato, water chestnut, parsley, basil, garlic, 15 oz Hot Spicy V8, veggie broth, and Italian Seasoning. The V8 doesn’t make it Hot Spicy but adds Some depth to the the broth. Topped with spaghetti Os type noodles.

I did some stocking up for holiday baking and candy for the stockings along with some regular groceries, the cart was packed. It may have been the most I've ever gotten from there in one trip:eek: I have to say they did have all the standard precautions wipes and sanitizer by the door, no shoes no shirt no mask no entry, floor markings and the cashiers were behind plexiglass and wearing masks.
Our Nearest Aldi is Next to Walmart in a strange town that is wealth and poor. No middle. The upper end have deemed they do not have to participate in Covid requirements. So I curbside only at Walmart in that shopping center. The is an Aldi farther out that curbsides but there is a $35 minimum and a $5 service charge.

Thanks, Minnie...!!! :)
It was indeed an enjoyable, chill, weekend, for the most part.
Hope y’all’s was, as well...!!! :)
We spent some time at my folks temporary digs Sunday, and then met them at Family Central yesterday.
Things have been progressing very slowly on the rebuild, so far. Long story short, the guy that was in charge is no longer with the company, so another guy moved up to take his place. He’s promised things will vastly improve under his watch. We’re givin’ him 2 weeks to deliver on that promise of improved pace, otherwise we’ll get the attention of the company with other action.
Just one of life’s little bumps...! ;)
Still, all in all, it was a great weekend...!!!!!

Some pics from both days...we also left a bunch of messages (I’m only including a couple) on the framing of Family Central...!!! :)

Looks like you had a nice day. I think that your family is autographing some of the insides of the rebuild on your parents place, a fun way to make it a family home again.

But they’ve cancelled just about all ways of celebrating Christmas this year so maybe not.

Can’t believe they are not lighting the castle with lights.

I kind of figured with the repainting of the castle that there might not be any dream lights on the castle. I will miss them, projections will be interesting but the Dream lights were better. I'm glad they are incorporating the toy soldiers in with the band for a calvacade, they are my favorite part of the Christmas parade anyway.
