If we wind up down there when my dh retires I may look into it. I have most of my quilts cataloged and can provide samples of my work. So I haven't given up yet
My wife has made several quits (hand quilted), I have a signature quit made by great great grandmother and others dated 1868. My grandmother kept it in a steamer trunk in FL for years I'm surprised it survived. Had some bug stains and I very very carefully washed got the stains out all in all it is still in good shape

Happy Farm Market Saturday and I feel rather sorry for anybody who wanted okra and wasn't there well before opening time:angelic: I have a pot of beans and greens on, the kale for smoothies has been washed destemmed and chopped and the celery for smoothies has been washed and chopped. Later the boys are going to be mad at me because i cornered the bell pepper market(red and green) and those are going to have to be washed deseeded and chopped. For some unknow reason James didn't want corn this week:eek:

Both our pups came from the local shelter. Both are mostly black lab, but, Belle obviously has German shepherd in her blood, as does Ranger a bit of pit bull.
He’s a great, even tempered dog, but, he’s also what you described as extremely excitable.
Ultimately, their was no pain involved, and I’m already old-ish, ugly, and pretty scarred up anyway, so what’s a few more “blemishes”...?!!!!! :hilarious:
For you right now it doesn't make a difference, but at my age when your skin gets onion skin thin, a lot of bleeding is involve and healing time is a little longer, so I'd rather avoid it when possible.
