I've never had the ones UA serve, but I'm betting they are the prepackaged ones? Yummy, but definitely not as good as the fresh from the vendor ones that are still warm and dripping with the caramel filling. E and I were discussing it yesterday that Epcot should get a Stroopwaffel kiosk....like the drink carts outside of the pavilions. They could put it over by Germany and Norway. They would make a killing on Stroopwaffels. I've heard a lot of people LOVED the Stroopwaffel McFlurry that McDonalds did, and apparently the stroopwaffels are popular with UA customers. There would definitely be demand for it.
Yes. The domestic flight I was on at United last week came with a prepackaged stroopwaffel the size of the palm of your hand, chewy but flavorful, an antiseptic wipe pack, a small bottle of water and little bag of pretzels. According to the directions, it stated if you put the stroopwaffel over a hot mug of coffee the waffle would melt into the coffee to give it more flavor. The one little outside side place I miss is about 20 years ago outside Canada/Epcot. It served a Canadian pastry called beavertails. Deep fried sugary goodness.

Well I have never seen anyone put a stroopwaffel in their coffee, but whatever floats your boat. I don't drink coffee, BUT I suppose if you left it in the packaging and laid it across the coffee mug full of a hot beverage, it would soften the stroopwaffel and melt the caramel...that would be more like the fresh ones from the vendor. My best friend LOVES stroopwaffels and I send packages to her all the time, but I keep telling her she needs to come here and get a fresh one. SO much better.

I never heard of it until I flew in United. In Holland, where my family member visited, he didn't hear of it or try it. He was too busy eating the other street food, raw herring fish and French fries with mayo.
Did he try Frikandel? That's the major street food item here. There are several, actually, but that's the most popular one.

Never heard of a stroopwaffel had to look it up --sounds yummy
I know someone said they could get stroopwaffels at a certain store in the US, but I don't remember which....maybe Target? Or Trader Joes? But they aren't as good as the ones from the Netherlands. And the best ones are the ones warm straight from the waffel press. This is why Epcot needs a stand!!! I think it would be great to have some of the smaller countries represented in the World showcase. South America doesn't have any representation at all, does it? Asia and Africa are represented in Animal Kingdom, Europe is represented in Epcot, as is North America, but there's nowhere that does South American really. Or Australia/New Zealand. There are some definite gaps that could be filled with some pop-up stands from some under-represented countries. Everyone thought they were going to announce a Brazilian pavilion in Epcot at the last D23, and instead, they announced an overhaul of future world. They still need to cover those missing cultures!

There's those Mexican churros around Epcot but stroopwaffel would blow it away if it came to Epcot.

Good morning @StarWarsGirl! When are you going back to sleep?
I tried going to sleep for about an hour or so after I started throwing all the likes. I listened to the Hamilton Polka again, (I really don't know why) and then some other music, and the I conked out hard, and then I was woken up for food. Honestly, I was so asleep they should have just left me that way.

Oh, and the check engine light came on. On the Buick Enclave. Which is two years old and have 17k miles on it. 🤦‍♀️ We think it's probably a gas cap issue or that somehow there's bad gas in there. Hopefully, otherwise they'll be finding a dealership down there to have it repaired.
There is a dealership there. Right before the island there is a dealership we brought our Suburban to when it had issues. It was on the east bound side. Hopefully it is just a loose gas cap.
Your dad does not drive much, does he? 17k in 2 years??

It's my mom's car. He drives the Lacrosse. Most of the mileage has been trips down here.

We thought there was one.
