Man you would have been very happy!!!It would have been costumes for me
Lol, nope but it fits
I love history, too, though I have to admit the way it's taught in high schools, at least in my high school, was not the best way to get kids interested. When all it is is a list of names and dates, it's a bit dry. History needs to be made relevant. I guess that's the nice thing about homeschooling, though....you can tailor it to your kids and do it how you want to do it.The book starts with a small, quick history of how the Separatists and Pilgrims decided to come to The New World. The first story though was a myth of the Cherokee. The next thing he needs to read is a 23 page excerpt from William Bradford’s , “Of Plymouth Plantation”. For me it is interesting reading because I love history. For him it will be torture. Hopefully in the end or in years to come he will appreciate some aspects of the course.
^^^This. And share pictures you will!! (please?)Yay! You will have a grand-doggy! Spoil it you will!

Totally!! I read one dining with an imagineer story where the Imagineer was someone who was working on Mickey's Run Away Railway. (that's what it's called, right?) And it said she was really passionate about getting girls interested in STEM, which I think is awesome. It wasn't something very encouraged when I was that age. I was the only girl in my calculous class, and there weren't a whole lot of girls who took Physics, either. Of course my physics class was a bit of a joke, really. There were no tests, and if you didn't know the answers to the homework, you could ask the teacher and she'd just give you the answer. I didn't really learn anything in that class. I'm glad E is so good in science, and that she actually likes it! It will open up so many more opportunities for her! She really has no limitations on what she can choose!! She's in a really great position in that way, though it also means having a hard time narrowing it down!Yep imagineering is really versatile. I wish I had know about it more when career planning as a kid.
....do they have any desire for a skylight in that spot?
Yes they are surprisingly good!So today, I went to the store to pick up milk, and the milk aisle is next to the frozen aisle. I saw that they had Mickey ice cream bars (Mickey heads on sticks), so I picked up a box to try those. Yum--very good! Now, the only issue is that they're higher in calories (over 40 more) and more fat, than the Mickey ice cream sandwiches I had picked up recently. So, I'll dole out the bars to myself over the next few weeks.
Funny thing was that when I opened up the ice cream bar, hubs was nearby. He looked stunned and said, "hey--isn't that a Mickey head you just bit into?!" (He's not a Disney fan like I am, so I had to explain the Mickey ice cream selections to him. ) He didn't try one, as he's trying to lose his Covid 15 pounds. I'll join him in that endeavor -- once all the Mickey bars are gone, that is!
Ugh. Another (big) one bites the dust . . .
