From what I understand, dewclaws are kind of a vestigial thing, and a lot of people have them removed when pups are young.
We’ve (I’ve :hilarious:) never had any problems with any of our previous playful pups, but, I know of other dogs that have had them cause them problems.
Best just keep my squeak toy ‘til we can get him to the vet for a clipping...!!!!! :hilarious:
My daughters pit always seems to jump up on me and has caused those types of wounds quite often. I think we finally got her trained to not jump but just come close and beat me to death with her bony tail that whips back and forth at the speed of light. She is such a sweet dog that loves people and kids especially, but they are having a hard time to get her to understand that she is extremely muscular and easily excitable.

There...it happened again....k-n-o-b is not a sexual slang that I am aware of. Is it?
Not here but I believe it is in Britain. If I recollect all you have to do is think about what looks like a k-nob on your body. It amazes me because when it comes to sexual things they always seemed more laid back then we ever were. Less uptight. Edit: I see now that it has already been answered. So just skip ahead!

Thanks...!!! :)
Hurricane Harvey (the largest tropical rainfall event in US history) in 2017 didn’t cause them any significant issues, so we’re confident they’ll be fine.
They live in Spring, Texas, which is essentially a far north Houston suburb. BIL works in downtown Houston.

The following is from the National Hurricane Center

Unsurvivable storm surge with large and destructive waves will cause catastrophic damage from Sea Rim State Park, Texas, to Intracoastal City, Louisiana, including Calcasieu and Sabine Lakes. This surge could penetrate up to 30 miles inland from the immediate coastline. #Laura

Sounds really scary.
