Here are some screen shots from the article.
They are saying the mint was short staffed. My only problem with that reasoning is what about the decades worth of other coins still in circulation. So many banks now charge you to count coins even if your depositing the money and common fee at Major banks is a 10% commission This new Major bank policy made clients angry Some people are now hoarding. I have accounts also at our locally owned bank. They don’t charge to throw coins in their counting machine.

I save my change for a year and Then use it to pay for my annual pass And usually it pays for some part of a trip too. This year not so much because I’ve been using my card vs cash for just about everything.

Yes he has lost almost 90 pounds since October 2019. He had a health scare and that got him to start the weight loss. He has worked really hard and I'm really proud of him. :) His doctor is really proud of his progress too.

That’s great news about his weight loss...!!! :)
New clothes are always in order when you lose that much...like the last time I lost a bunch of weight, I’ll use the money I save on beer for new clothes...!!!!! :D:hilarious:

A kid broke my older ds's wrist and the school sent him home without a report or even a phone call. That wasn't a fun evening in the ER for the first hour. We had to sign the releases and he was done with X Rays before we could see him. He didn't go back to that school ever. We were in the superintendent's office first thing the next morning. The teacher "retired" a couple of weeks later
They don't do incident reports here, apparently. We didn't get one when the kid pushed A down and broke his wrist either, but at the ER, the doc asked him what happened and he very tearfully told the woman what happened and it was obvious that it was the truth. The teacher did call us while we were waiting for the xray, though, so it would have been easy to get the truth if they had needed confirmation.

Does the school have to file internal incident reports?

We use Coinstar and get gift cards with it because then they don’t tale a percentage. Our bank got rid of the coin counter because people complained saying they got cheated.
