It was so hot today that we took a drive up to Craggy Gardens on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We pulled off to have a snack, and a black bear ran across the road just past us. He was little and too quick for a picture.

I use the oven more, right now it is annoying but still usable. The church owns our house and appliances and if we called them up it would get fixed right away, the council has always been really good about that. Like last year Brad mentioned that the dishwasher was on the fritz and the next day the dishwasher was ordered and installed a few days later and that was the case with our washing machine too. But right now with everything going on we don't want to inconvenience anyone or have the church put out money unnecessarily if something isn't totally broke. I don't like to be super pushy about things for the house either, the pastor's wife before me, which was 17 years ago, was very demanding and I just don't want to seem that way.

That makes more sense, then. I wouldn't want to make a fuss if someone else was paying for it either. Especially right now while so many people are struggling financially and emotionally, even if they are physically healthy. Good on you guys for not burdening them if you don't need to. I imagine it's hard to be a pastor because you have a very fixed income...at least from what I remember about our pastor growing up.

It's not just the UK....it's pretty much all of Europe from my understanding. I know that the Netherlands won't let Americans in, and I'm pretty sure Germany won't either...they just opened their borders to other Europeans like a week ago.

That’s the plan. She’d be likely placed in the group that won from her department this year As one is transferring to a different Region of their territory this month.

I tried a regular pillow first, but it didn't help. I also had a little foam thing specifically formed to go bewteen your knees to elevate the hip. It worked, but not as well as Earl. With Earl, I can adjust my position in whatever way a need and still have support.

I'm rather eclectic in my music....I'm a child of the 80s, so I love a lot of that, I grew to love Jazz in college when I was forced to audition for and then participate in vocal jazz to keep my scholarship. I am not a fan of opera, though I don't mind singing it. 50s music is a lot of fun. I like a lot of different things. My voice is most suited to Jazz or Musicals because I don't have as much vibrato, but I have a higher range than most pop music. But there are very few genres I can't stomach. But yes, the music and entertainment industty in general is rife with discrimination. But that's a topic for a different thread that I don't dare to venture into! It would probably give me an aneurysm.
