My DD finally went last week. They had plexiglass put up between each station, the girls had on masks and were behind a plexiglass portion with a square that you put your hand through so they could do your nails. Plus, it was by appointment only. She was happy with the whole experience.

I saw a deer just 1/2 a mile from my home. At the edge of the woods that borders our local strip mall. We are in a high population part of town with plenty of cars whizzing by all day. It's been years since I saw a deer in THIS area.

Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, and Texas -- all spikes. This is going to be a long summer for many folks. The country will get through this though. If we pulled ourselves out of the worst of this in the Northeast, other areas will as well. I know your state of Illlinois is also working diligently to flatten the curve there.

I saw on GMA this morning that, unfortunately, cases are now on the rise in 39 states.

@21stamps Mayor Ginther is apparently signing an order that masks are required for all public spaces starting tomorrow. Not sure if that means outdoor recreation or not. I guess we'll see.

Im wondering too, contact sports just came back this week, so what does that mean?! It’s a bit confusing.

We are going to KI on Saturday, only available time slot was 12pm, they’re requiring advance reservations now. I doubt we’ll stay long, KI is definitely requiring masks throughout the entire park... but they had announced that last month. The only thing left is sports and parks., but will they really require masks at those?

Please no sad faces for me. I have gel polish on my toes which I hardly ever spring for and I'm having some fun with designs on my fingers. With all the new regulations in place my salon is only doing plain nail polish up to 2 colors or french. They're working at least as many hours and able to see less people so I don't want to stress them even more trying to squeeze me in.

@dryerlintfan looks like Columbus is mandating masks, but on your mayor’s orders, not DeWine’s.
My county does not have a mandate, and it looks like we’re unlikely to get one.

As y’all know, we are now only workin’ ‘till noon on Friday’s, instead of 1p. But, anytime a holiday falls on a Friday, our holiday pay is still for eight hours, so I sprung myself a little after 4p, and am still a little over 2.5 hours ahead...!!!!!!!
