I meant we didn't have cell phones at all if you broke down you were on your own.Oh No!!!! I will never use my phone while driving unless I pull over. That is way too dangerous.

Practice driving to school early in the morning. You will get an idea what traffic is like that time of day when you do go, and then by the time you do have to drive to school you will be able to do it with your eyes closed.I will also be driving to school. I have to get the nerve up to do it because I really hate taking the bus. I have been taking short trips to the store and back home, but driving to WDW/Disney Springs or Universal/ CityWalk is just a bit too much right now for me alone. I will get use to it and there will be a day when I wake up and say, "Hey Mom I am going to Disney" and get in the car and go.
My father had one, I couldn't afford to even look at them

My school is early enough as it is. 1st period starts at 7:18 and homeroom is at 7 a.m. I know that is crazy early.Practice driving to school early in the morning. That was my first car. Loved it. A hand me down that lasted a long time. It's not that bad. I did it in a Honda Civic several times
That's about the time we started. Before James was homeschooled his bus was just after 6 in the morningMy school is early enough as it is. 1st period starts at 7:18 and homeroom is at 7 a.m. I know that is crazy early.
If you ask me it starts way too early. I am like dead in the morning and need 5 cups of coffee just to get going. That's about the time we started. Before James was homeschooled his bus was just after 6 in the morning

Go to bed earlier. Don't depend on caffeine. I never drink or drank coffee. The more dependent on coffee you get, the more you will need more of it for its affect. If you drink decaf, then everything I said was pointless. If you ask me it starts way too early. I am like dead in the morning and need 5 cups of coffee just to get going.
I really only drink it like that during the school year. I really wish I could go to bed earlier, but with cheer after school and then eating dinner and taking a shower and then the ton of homework they give us I really can't.Go to bed earlier. They do give too much homework. How did you like online schooling?I really only drink it like that during the school year. I really wish I could go to bed earlier, but with cheer after school and then eating dinner and taking a shower and then the ton of homework they give us I really can't.
I liked it and I didn't like it. I liked it because I knew when the work had to be completely by and I could work on it in my own time. I did not like it because and this might have been just my school district there was not much guidance or direction at all other than we were given the assignments and when they were due. So I relied a lot on my parents when they weren't extremely busy already or just googling the answers which isn't learning at all. They do give too much homework. How did you like online schooling?
I drove through Saigon (currently Ho Chi Mien City) twice a week for a year. The next worse was Montreal, then Boston. (During the big dig) All those make NYC seem like a quiet stroll through Central Park.I-4 isn't bad at all I learned to drive in metro NY area
It's okay; she's just there for the rollercoasters.@StarWarsGirl missed seeing the factory when they gave tours and the airport which was within walking distance of the park
I called my uncle the time I needed a jump start. That was a nope.@Letteyeti we also had to be able to change a tire, check and change the oil and jump start a car,
I seem to have forgotten... but are you one of my kids? Along with those basics I taught one of my girls how to do a brake job. She wanted to know.@Letteyeti we also had to be able to change a tire, check and change the oil and jump start a car,
We actually had one of those when my wife was commuting weekly from Vermont to Boston. I used it once on a back road in Florida, just to call my folks and blow their minds. It still had more dead spots then live ones.
