Sorry. Some will be worse than others, but there is always that one person. Partner assignments I've found are usually okay. But put more than two people together and ugh.
I have been in partner assignments and they have been ok. Most of the time in high school the teacher lets us pick our partners if it is not a group. One thing I did learn my Freshman year in US Government we did have a partner assignment and my best friend was in that class with me. So of course we chose each other. We would always tell our parents to take us to each others houses so we could work on the project and well you can probably guess what it turned into. It turned into a bunch of goofing off. We did finish the project the night before and our parents were mad as you know what. We ended up with a "C" on the project. I don't think I will go with my best friend any more as a project partner even though I love her so much.

That was awesome. I have never seen the stage production of Hamilton and can't wait till it comes to Disney+.
We get the touring productions here in Baltimore. Hamilton came last summer and my mom and I got tickets. It's kind of our thing. We saw that one, we saw Les Miserables, the entire family saw Aladdin, and we saw Wicked literally two weeks before everything shut down. Also have seen Beauty and the Beast three times, Lion King three times, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and Mary Poppins.

Lucky you, but I live 30 minutes away from WDW. 😂 I really want to see Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins, and especially the Lion King. I would like to see Wicked too.

Nice. I think the touring productions go to Orlando.

I very seriously have considered moving to Orlando. Like, I got into UCF, and when that didn't pan out, I applied for jobs down there and looked for apartments, as recently as last year when I realized I was going to be laid off of my last job. Then I got a health diagnosis that was pretty scary, and John's Hopkins hospital up here is one of the best places in the country to get treatment for it. I'm better now, but I have to live in Maryland for the next four years at least.

It's fine. My parents are DVC members, so I'm down in WDW twice a year. It's super easy to get down there from here. Two hour flight, and the flights are cheap. We're going down in August; I used points one way and the other way was $75. I was down there last in February. Stayed at Boardwalk, so we walked over to DHS and got boarding groups for RotR without being up super early. Since my parents are DVC members, I pay the same rates you do for APs. And then up here we have Hershey Park, which is about an hour and a half away. My brother and I have season passes, so we're usually up once a month. We might go more often this year since there's not much else to do, plus I'm working from home so I'm not up as early during the week.

I am so glad your health scare is better. UCF is definitely a school i plan on applying to as it is so close. I will probably end up going to a State college. That isn't bad at all with a 2 hour flight and it being cheap is always good. The Boardwalk resort is beautiful. We as you probably figured don't stay in the resorts as we do day trips and then go home. Having DVC though probably has saved your parents tons of money. I know with the AP it is wonderful. Universal is also great to visit and we do that as well. Now that I have started to drive even though I am not really comfortable with doing it by myself much, I will go out with friends more now than just my mom and dad. I am not a horrible driver, I guess it is just I am new at it with driving without either mom or dad in the car and it is scary.

Hershey Park sounds like fun especially if they have tons of chocolate. :) August is when school starts back up for me, but if I pop over to the parks when you are there I will tell you. I will be the red head that is dancing around the park acting goofy. :) I will probably be in the Animal Kingdom.

I don’t really hate it, I just don’t feel confident enough yet to drive long distances away from home on my own. Not saying 30 minutes to WDW away from my home is a long way. I will get use to it once I do it more. I just have to pull my big girl pants up and do it.
My oldest got her license last year. She is scared to drive by herself also. She will need to drive to school everyday this fall so she needs to get over it. She has been going out daily with her car and running errands like to Walmart or other places. I don't remember being scared like her and learned to drive in NY where it is way more crowded than where we live in PA. Where you live is super crowded and the roadways are really crowded. I can see how you could be nervous. Best thing is to just go out a little every day. It is the only way. You don't get better unless you drive more.

So for the first year and a half or so after I got my license, I did not go on expressways unless I had someone with me. Didn't matter if it took me longer; I took back roads. I was in college before I finally got up the nerve to get on one myself. Oh, I love driving. One thing I've done in quarantine is just go driving. But expressways freaked me out. Of course if you could see Maryland drivers on the Baltimore Beltway, you'd understand why.

I will also be driving to school. I have to get the nerve up to do it because I really hate taking the bus. I have been taking short trips to the store and back home, but driving to WDW/Disney Springs or Universal/ CityWalk is just a bit too much right now for me alone. I will get use to it and there will be a day when I wake up and say, "Hey Mom I am going to Disney" and get in the car and go.

You have seen I- 4 most likely if you have been to WDW and that scares me a lot. It is just craziness on there.

I can see how it can be overwhelming for a new driver. Florida roads are busy.

I've driven now in Maryland, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and California (I drove from Anaheim down to San Diego). The Baltimore Beltway is still the worst thing besides the expressways down by DC.

Now that I've been driving as long as I have, I prefer to be behind the wheel. If I go someplace with my friends, we don't even ask who's driving; we just head for my car. Even with my mom, if she and I go someplace, I usually drive. She still will occasionally try to instruct me on how to drive, and I'm like, Mom, I've been driving for how long now? But fair is fair, because when she drives me, I usually end up telling her how to drive and she's like, uh, who taught who to drive? 😂

I am perfectly capable of going to the store and picking up something that I want, but still there are many times I wait for mom or dad to get home and ask them to drive me and they look at me like I am crazy. I think they have more confidence in me well then me.

I know I will get to that point where I am comfortable and it will be now problem at all. I have only been able to drive by myself for almost 7 months now. In the beginning I wouldn't even think of going out by myself even though I could. I do think I am a very safe driver which is a good thing.

@StarWarsGirl missed seeing the factory when they gave tours and the airport which was within walking distance of the park
