I just checked my blueberries .. the squirrels ate them!!!!!!!

I’m assuming squirrels, I don’t know what else it would be. There was probably 20 blueberries that were ripening. Ugh!!! Now I wonder if I’m never going to get any fruit or veggies if the stupid rodents have now found the blueberries. 😡😡😡😡
Do you think this could be birds and not squirrels? The blueberries were there last night.

I mean... you're planting animal food where animals can get to it. Deer, birds, bunnies, squirrels.... for us the hardest one to discourage is chipmunks, but we also had a ground hog eat all our squash flowers. And our dog ate all our asparagus.

If you want to harvest, usually that means you need a physical barrier. Even our herbs needed to be covered with wire cages. Now we just plant things for the animals and buy our food at the farmers markets, LOL

How humane of you. Very few people would do that. ;)🤔😀

I wonder if my parents are aware of this. I’m pretty sure they’re planning on cancelling due to all of the changes with characters etc.. but maybe a credit would make it worth it. I don’t think they’ll be able to go next year.. my dad is getting worse, I just think it would be too hard on him, even though he says otherwise.

I’ll have to call and ask if they received the same.
They will send an email showing what your travel plans are with the dates your reservation is. And show the new pkg price. Then, a few days later, I checked my credit card balance and the credit was on there. The 35% is for everyone that had rescheduled and had been given the free dining plan. They cancelled all dining plans so gave the room discount.

She does. She's funny, though. Getting her into it is a chore. Once she's out there, she's happy. But she won't leave my lap. So I get a cushion for the lounge chair and bring her there because that's the only place where she'll let me put her down momentarily to get myself together.

That picture was taken while she was on my chest. 🙄

We still use the harness and the leash for her safety, though. It makes us feel better too.
I was talking about a teal lover who lives north of you;)

I did all our sidewalks, driveway, pavers around gardens and basement exterior access since this whole mess started. I swear pressure washing is one of THE most satisfying things to do around the house.
That is so very true. I decided to leave some for today for that very reason. We are also going to repaint our front steps so I am going to tackle power washing it to get rid of loose paint.

Well, there was a spike in cases here after people held an illegal gathering one weekend when the weather was nice. And in Germany a couple of weeks ago, they opened up restaurants and such for outdoor seating, and there were over 100 new cases because of this one pub owner. He was so happy he could finally open again that he held a party...a week or 2 later, there were 118 people who had gone to that pub and gotten sick. Same with a church service somewhere in either Belgium or Germany, though that would have been inside, where the pub thing was an outdoor terrace. Then again, over here, we don't usually get to 85 degrees until July/August and then we have about 3 weeks of summer temperatures and then we're back to upper 60s/lower 70s. It depends on your climate.
We are actually getting some 90's in Pennsylvania this week. I am looking forward to it.

Had to put this beast down on Monday afternoon. We took her to the vet about 3 weeks ago because she was weak and had a hard time getting up, come to find out she had arthritis in her back. She was fine for about a week when her back gave out again. She couldn't stand up on her own without help, and on sunday/monday she would walk around and then fall. To go from being fine to completely downhill in a matter of weeks broke my heart. She survived everything, from her seizures to her stomach issues (which almost killed her had she not pulled through), but I guess this time it was too much.
So sorry for your loss =(

I never liked sweet potatoes until I moved to North Carolina. Around here, what with NC being the Sweet Potato producer for the world, you cannot swing your arm without finding Sweet Potato's in one form of the other. Having taken 65 years to reach the level of maturity required to cast off my childhood dislikes, I decided to try them and to my complete surprise they were really good. They are a regular part of my diet now. Everything from Sweet Potato Pie (y'all), SP fries, plain SP's with butter or marshmallows and all the other things that can be done with them. Them's good eatin' right there!
Nope. Nope.

They go beyond a childhood dislike for me. I have disliked them since I was a baby. My mother tried to feed them to me and I spat them out. I tried chilli at a cook-off at work that everyone was saying was good, and I thought it was terrible...I found the offending food. It was sweet potatoes. I have tried it in different forms...that stuff is nasty.
