A creek.
A creek.
A stream, brook or civilization ( if one is lost for days )?
Totally southern term for brook. Where in the name of Neptune did the word creek (crick) come from? Like Crayfish became Crawdads.A creek (although some call it a crick - not of the neck variety, though ).
Flood waiting to happen
Thneed. Cut plastic, burn plastic, grind up remains of melted plasticAwe

I have visited both cities. Nice suburbs, great food minus the winter weather.
I call it beautiful! (some would call it a creek or a stream in Wyoming)
I wondered this myself....wouldn't that just make them feel worse? It's like throwing it in their faces! Haha! We got a ceremony and prom and all that stuff and you don't! Not to mention people were posting their grad year, and their school....anyone phishing for information doesn't have to look too far.
@Tony the Tigger , hoping that you have a good Memorial Day weekend, both in profits for your stores, and also some nice social time at home. Eat some barbecue!!
Good news/bad news:
We had a record-setting (no pun) Saturday in sales, even keeping the stores at 50% capacity. Friday and Sunday were very good also, even with fairly steady rain.
Today looks like a washout - torrential downpours and flood watches. This meant I did only one grocery delivery yesterday, and I’d expect about the same today. Missed opportunity as holiday weekends = great tips.
Hired someone yesterday I think will do great.
Very relieved to see business come back so strong, so fast, even if it’s pent up demand that will taper off.
Very relieved that it rained most of the weekend, keeping stubborn people off the beaches.
Concerned about the crowds at other establishments.
Yay! Hope the store continues to have “record” sales. I was watching webcams from Florida yesterday and saw the bad rains in your neck of the woods.Good news/bad news:
