I was reading TRs today and so many people had trips planned for May or June, and who knows when it's going to open again? I got to thinking...I had originally thought we should do our trip this Summer. I really went back and forth between 2019 and 2020. I thought if we did 2020, we'd probably be able to do Star Wars, but then I remembered going to WWoHP at Universal when it first opened, and I didn't want to be anywhere near SW:GE when it had just recently opened, so we went last year instead. I'm soooo glad I did that now....we'd be sitting here wondering if we were going to get to go and what it might be like if we did. I feel so bad for all those whose vacations were canceled, or they are up in the air about whether or not they will get to go. And what happens with things like ADRs or queues with so many people?? It's so uncertain now! I'm glad to not have that anxiety on top of everything else!

I read speculations by some analyst today that they don't see the parks reopening until 2021.... Sure hope that's not the case!

Proof positive that Jack is a goat. Yesterday, we could hear him gagging and then he puked (on the rug, of course). :rolleyes:

The evidence at the scene showed that he had tried to eat a paper coffee filter. that was filled with used coffee grounds, from the pot where coffee had been brewed a few minutes earlier. I had put the filter with grounds on a paper towel on the counter for a moment, while I took a cup of coffee upstairs to hubs. When I came downstairs, he was gagging and heaved.

WHAT LUNATIC DOG would attempt to eat a coffee filter with used grounds inside?! 🤦‍♀️

Yikes!! 2021?? That's almost a whole year! I have been seeing stuff on some blogs about possible plans for new procedures when they do open, but I didn't read any since we don't have any trips planned. But I can't imagine what it feels like right now to have a trip booked and not know whether or not you'll get to go. I don't like up-in-th-air plans. I'm a detailed planner because I don't like not knowing where I'm going to be when...I can't handle the uncertainty...this would be my worst nightmare. I get stomach pains just thinking about it!

Dogs eat the strangest things my Golden Retriever at a dish towel unbeknownst to us. She got really sick as it got stuck in her bowel. Took her to the vet and had emergency surgery. She made it through surgery and the vet gave us the shredded towel in a plastic bag. From then on anything she was chewing on that she wasn't supposed to she got a tap on the nose.

I know how you feel. I like to plan.... and have been planning for my Birthday trip to Las Vegas since January. Since all of this has happened, I've lost my excitement about September. I hope it happens... but the uncertainty has put a pause on my planning and excitement.

She wanted to drive at some point, though she would have needed a special car with hand controls rather than pedals, but eventually she realized it wasn't in the cards for her. Her reflexes aren't great and her eyesight is terrible. No way would she be able to meet that requirement in order to graduate! How does that work?

Nope. You just have to do the classes. You do not have to get your license.

I'm so sorry! That has to be so frustrating. I've been sort of thinking about maybe going to Germany again this Summer, but I'm thinking it's not going to happen. As far as I know, Germany still has closed borders for now, and I'm not sure they are easing up restrictions at all, so the chances of getting to go are slim and I don't want to start planning something just to have it crater. On the other hand, I don't want to do spur-of-the-moment either, so maybe we'll just stay home this Summer. I wonder what flight prices are going to look like next year to the US. I'm sure they will be affected by Covid19, but I wonder if it will push demand upwards once people can go places, or whether people will be too timid to fly for a while.
