Today I saw a few co-workers had their cameras on during a meeting for the first time since I started working from home...it was strange. I think my company collectively decided that we just don't want ours on most of the time. I haven't had mine on once.

I am going to a virtual happy hour on Friday for a coworker who is leaving the company (moving to Colorado) so I guess I will turn the camera on for that...and throw on my glasses so I can continue to not wear makeup.

If it's small meetings we usually have ours on, but for larger meetings we don't.

An email from my plastic surgery office, they worked with the Mohs surgeon when I had the melanoma on my face, and they also do my Botox and Juvederm., neither of which can be done now.. don’t think they can mail my injections ;)... anyway, I think those items will be cut out of my budget, I bet a lot of plastic surgeons will see a downtick in injection and other elective procedure patients, but at the same they might see a rush when they open back up.. imagine how many people are seeing a wrinkled face for the first time in years!

Frankincense essential oil for wrinkles. Find a good brand like Doterra.

I wonder how my skin would react to that. I use oil free everything, from face wash to makeup. I tried Obagi + prescription retinol, 3 different times., but it was a gigantic waste of money each time. I never followed the proper regimen.

I’m kind of hoping that we’ll see a lot of discounts on injectables when things open up. I would like to maybe get one area done so I don’t suddenly age 5 years overnight. I might get some sideways glances.🤣

Am I the only one who has spotty WiFi in my backyard??? I don’t understand how people are doing this without the screen freezing. Our screen freezes every single time. 🤦‍♀️

Frankincense is not oil. It is an extract. They just call these plant extracts essential oils. It works great for pimples too, which I rarely get, but it helps clear up my sons real quick, and Frankincense doesn't require a carrier oil. You can put it directly on your face and you only need a tiny drop. It spreads a lot.

Oh awesome. I’ll have to try that. Thanks!

Our wifi works in our yard well when we are close to the side of the house where the router is.
Mine works out on my deck, can't say about anywhere else because I've never tried it

Mine works on the deck and the front yard.. but the front yard is sloped, not good for soccer practice.

Thank you, Minnie,

I have to admit that it is not a situation that I desperately need the money, right now. I would just like to know, in clear English when I should expect it. It says if you have received a SSA-1099 that they will use that information "just like your regular deposit". OK, part of that is clear, but when they say "just like your regular deposit" do they mean at the same time or just the same manner? It is part of my ongoing battle with bureaucracies to try and get even the smallest amount of information. I have heard all the stuff, like you getting your's already and understand, but no direct hint has been given by anyone as to the planned schedule. I guess I'll know tomorrow, when I would normally get my SSA deposit. I have a bad feeling about it being messed up. I will try later to use that site again, but I think it is complicated by the fact that I have just established a new physical address, but the bank info remained the same.

I read (somewhere, at some point last year), it's important to update your mailing address with Social Security. They do spot mailings and if anything is returned to them in the mail for an out of date address, they will immediately stop payments, to that individual. (This is true even if the banking information is the same, as before the person moved to a new address.) Not saying this has anything at all to do with your present position, but just passing it along, as I did read that last year.
