I forgot to take a picture, but we had pork spare ribs, amish noodles, and carrots for dinner. Nothing too fancy.

Had crackers and cheese last night for dinner. :joyfull:

(Saturday, I made a slow cooker pot roast with potatoes and carrots. I even threw in 2, cut-up celery stalks -- I went all out!) :p So, we ate that Saturday night, and then the leftovers I heated up for hubs yesterday. I didn't feel like meat two days in a row, and he did, so that worked out fine for last night's dinner.

O.k. My do-it-yourself cut wasn't nearly as bad as a year or two ago, (when I first tried it, myself). ;)

So, the front looks o.k. now, but the back is a little uneven . . . :p

Then, hubs decided he wanted to try and cut his hair (it's not long at all, and I thought it looked fine). So he went out to buy some electric clippers from CVS. He didn't have a clue how to use them , so he ended up just shaving it all off!!!! :jawdrop: Now, he's bald, but could care less!! :banghead:

I'm not going to even attempt to try to cut any part of my hair besides my bang. I know it would go horribly wrong, I can barely cut my bangs straight. I have never been into hairstyling or anything like that, I just don't have talent for that. I have always appreciated the efforts of my hairstylist because I know it is something I can't do. I thought about getting my hair cut shorter the last time I went, before our WDW trip and I reluctantly decided not to but now I wish I had.

Hubs has a pair of clippers and he might have to go your husband's route and do a buzz. His hair gets to a certain length and he just can't take it any more. He used to buzz his hair for years and then he stopped when we got together. I always told him I was fine if he lost his hair naturally and went bald but he didn't have to do it prematurely as I think he has nice hair. But for this time period I might have to say it's okay.

Looks like a happy Easter. What did you say in response to the easter bunny gifts under the bed?

Nothing, LOL. She's pretty certain I'm the Easter Bunny but not Santa. I don't know, we've never really pushed the envelope with the make believe stuff. I've never said it wasn't true, but also don't feed into it. So I kinda just don't answer her questions LOL. I typically answer with "well, what do you think?"

Recipe for the pie please, thank you
This is the one I used. https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/french-silk-pie/

I chose this one because it does not have raw eggs in it. You have to continuously whisk the eggs in a double boiler until it gets to a certain temperature, so they are cooked, but still liquidy. I also used her pie crust recipe, but we didn't add quite enough water...we should have used one more tablespoon, so it was a bit crumbly and hard to roll out, but you might have a favorite recipe anyway.

Got up heard thunder looking at the news scary saying a large tornado on the ground not far from us moving 55 mile NE. If it stays on the ground hope it goes between us and Georgetown. Need to head for the crawl space under the house. Tornados are rare thing in coastal SC
I hope you are ok. I'm reading the news and it's devastating. A house planted right across the road, homes destroyed, 18 people dead across several states. Let us know how you are when it's safe if you haven't already.
