My grandmother many years ago had a German deli and at that time commercial mayo was not available. She told the story she had to get up in the wee hours of the morning and make mayo from scratch for all the salads they sold, when Hellman's mayo became available in the 20's she said it was a god send she could sleep in a little longer. Loved her german potato salad when she passed my mom got the recipe and she passed it on to my wife

I just made some German potato salad the other night, it was really good. My husband won't eat the kind with mayo but likes the hot German salad.

Please disregard if no interest. (Realize that some have their own reasons not to clean containers, and are doing what's best for them.) No problem with differences of opinion, just prefer that someone not insinuate that I'm a jerk.

Article/(brief video) below is from Dr. Sanjay Gupta regarding cleaning grocery containers.

We've been doing that since before the lockdown;)

Had a rather successful shopping trip rope dropped Walmart got boarding group 1 for bleach and they had enough kale I could have gotten a case:joyfull: Wegman's was a walk on:inlove::inlove::inlove: Rope dropped got cart 3 at Aldi's in and out in under 15 minutes. I even got enough while I was out to add Easter Pie to tomorrow's menu:joyfull: Aldi's had gf/df key lime and lemon boxed cake mixes so I got a few for the boys to make when they have nothing to do. Disney training has served me well.:D

My roof was completed yesterday. Process was smooth once I hired the right people, State Farm ended up paying 60%, though we had to fight for it for a month. Interestingly, the company I used had a contact person named Jake. He’s who I dealt with, and who dealt with my State Farm agent. T just said “Mom, I’m going to miss Jake from State Farm.” 😂
He’s been calling him that for 2 weeks.lol

Another item off the to-do list. :)
